He's taken over the music charts, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and our TV screens, and now Justin Bieber has his sights set on the silver screen.
"I want to be the lead star in a movie," the 16-year-old singing sensation admits in the October issue of Teen Vogue.
In fact, Bieber already has several not-so-top secret big-screen projects in the works, including a 3-D concert movie/documentary due Valentine's Day weekend and a semi-autobiographical flick to be produced by Will Smith. Bieber met the mega-star while recording the theme song for "The Karate Kid" with Smith's 12-year-old son, Jaden.
Oh, yeah, and there's that romantic comedy he'd like to make with Selena Gomez as his leading lady. "She's a good buddy of mine," he says of the 18-year-old "Ramona and Beezus" star. "She's really nice."
In the meantime, Bieber - who has added acting lessons to his already packed schedule - is hoping for success on the small screen with his upcoming role on "CSI," in which he'll play troubled teen Jason McCann in a two-episode arc that begins September 23.
"It seems like I'm this sweet and innocent kid," Bieber - who nibbles a SpongeBob SquarePants ice cream bar in his Teen Vogue photo shoot - says of his character, "and then it turns out I'm the mastermind behind everything."
