Police release T.I. and Tiny's mug shotsWhat a week it’s been for celebrity mug shots. First we got to take a look back at all three of Paris Hilton’s booking photos, and today, thanks to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, we also have the opportunity to take a gander at what rapper T.I. (real name: Clifford Harris) and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, looked like the night of their arrest. The couple was released on $10,000 bail Thursday morning. A spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Department, Nicole Nishida, told CNN that their mug shots wouldn’t be made public until investigators confirmed through lab tests that the substance seized at the time of their arrest on Wednesday was an illegal drug.

Not to mention the fact that both Halle Berry and Brandy killed people in hit and runs and got away with it. It's not so clear cut as 'white people get away with it, people of color get locked up'. Money, period, is an automatic 'get out of jail free' card.
silly boy, halle berry did NOT kill anybody. it was a hit and run, and the other person was injured, and berry was charged, but she did NOT kill anyone. (didn't bother to look up brandy, but please know your facts. as you can or can't tell by reading this response section, there are a lot of morons on here, and they will believe whatever you tell them.
Well first I believe people are so angry for a few reasons: 1. People tend to forget that he is just another man from he streets because he has money and fame- they buy into the thought that somehow the money made him a better person. NEVER THE CASE. 2. People must not remembre that Tiny has been fugly for a long time. Look back at your Xscape album covers and posters – not cute at all! Money can buy you a better photographer and sme better make-up. 3. Who ever saw a rapper with several drug busts and convictions on felony crimes under his belt as a role model for their children is in a sad situation anyway. We need to be ut kids role models. Work hard on being the example for our won fricking kids. He just a dude that had some good luck that is apparently not deserved. How many kids of thier own did they risk by being this selfish and stupid. Stop idolizing people because they have money.

Until now, Tiny has never been in trouble, works with charities, and has always been a generally well- liked person in Atlanta...what on earth is this going to look like for their children??? I'm really upset that this happened to TI but from what I read on another site the drug was extasy and it supposedly belonged to her, because a couple of years back she got charged with possession and the drug was extasy I really hope it was hers and not his especially since he just got out and is still on probation.

It costs the US $30,000 per prisoner per year in incarceration and the average college degree costs $28,000. Which would benefit us most?

I'm pretty sure that everyone who is calling Tiny ugly has no idea that she has had major surgery because of a brain aneurysm. So yes, it must be love if TI is STILL with her even after her face has been messed up from the surgery. She wasn't Top Model cute to begin with, but she was at least decent looking. And, I must say sitting their watching the guy in handcuffs (yes, they caught him in the act), the cops were pretty sure that he would do it again because he was a crackhead and that was not his first time doing that (according to them). Maybe after that, I should have started treating all white people as if they were that man who broke into my car, since all white folks are the same.

Y'all funny in America. In Canada this just wouldn't be a big deal. I'm not even sure that you would get a fine. Whether you agree or disagree with legallizing weed, US jails are disproportionately filled with blacks and latinos on stupid drug charges. I can't imagine what each state spends to house inmates on these charges and what it costs to prosecute. This money would be better spent on rehab facilities and education. Better yet, create a welfare system that works so that drugs and dealing aren't as enticing to the poor. This problem is far bigger than one couple smoking in their vehicle and the legislation really needs to be revisited. Drop the charges against TI.

Do you really think this was his first time using drugs since his release? Doubt it. Where was his Probation Officer? It's obvious he was not being tested, as his probation terms required. The sentencing judge, District Attorney and his Probation Officer should all be ashamed of there service to the community. Don't get me twisted, I love his music, but I am sick of our young black men, who have been given such blessings show such ignorence.
