Ellen takes the 'SYTYCD' stageShe may no longer be an "American Idol" judge, but Ellen DeGeneres still has a passion for reality competitions, especially "So You Think You Can Dance." On tonight's finale, as EW.com reports, she'll take on one of the most popular dances of the season, in place of Alex Wong, who was injured and taken out of the competition. Nigel Lythgoe is not exactly thrilled that the cat's out of the bag about the show's guest, but he did say via Twitter that DeGeneres was "incredible," adding, "Alex Wong's face was one of complete shock."
DeGeneres, who often dances on her talk show, will perform the show-stopping hip-hop routine with tWitch, and it's sure to be another memorable performance. According to EW.com, she's been rehearsing it for the past month. Regardless of whether Kent, Lauren or Robert walk away with the title of America's favorite dancer, this will be one moment that everyone will be watching for tonight. @shirley...african americans have won at least twice in the history of sytycd, so they don't need anything to get more african americans to watch and vote. maybe you should actually watch the show before you make comments like that.

Ellen scrunches her shoulders, moves in rhythm and shuffles over coffee tables. It's comedic, but not dancing-dancing.
They had to come up with something to get blacks to watch because they vote all the black dancers off she can not
compete with tWitch and that the truth i did not watch the show and didn't have to know she is know match for him.
I respectfully disagree with you. SYTYCD has all kinds of colors, shapes, and sizes involved. They are judged on the content of their dancing, not by the color of their skin.

SO disappointed. Robert, Billy, and Alex should have been the ones in the finale. Since Alex and Billy were not able to be the other two, I wanted Robert to win.
ellen was rib tickling funny and she even had a few good moves. loved it
I got to see this. I knew they could not get another guy to do it but ellen? I love her but this makes me scratch my head. Oh well. I hope this is as good as what alex did.

Ellen is pretty fly for a white chick. She can dance. I think she actually has more rythem than most people I know
oh golly gee, what r these folk doing with the tele-vision. Letting a loose moral person like her play around with a nice wholesome boy like Alex. Maybe my daughter Bristol and Alex could date, he seems so nice, whatca think.
