Singer Joe Jonas got to experience firsthand the wonder that is Betty White while filming his cameo for her TV Land series, "Hot in Cleveland."
In the episode, which airs tonight, the 20-year-old Jonas Brother plays Valerie Bertinelli's teen son Will, and in one scene, is shown texting away as his mom tries to reconnect with him over dinner. "It's amazing," Jonas told Entertainment Tonight of being on set. "The cast is so nice and helpful throughout the scenes, especially Valerie."
But his favorite moment by far involved the one-and-only White, who sat knitting for another scene. "Watching Betty White knit is just so adorable!" Jonas gushed to MTV News, adding that if he could be any Golden Girl, he'd choose 88-year-old Betty's character, Rose.
"My favorite would just have to be Betty," he explained, "because I know her now."
As for his future plans, Jonas told MTV he's been busy working on some new music. Does this mean hes ready to fly solo? "I didn't say that," he laughed. "I said I've been working on lots of music. I've been working [with] lots of musicians having a great time."
