Jennifer Hudson goes from size 16 to size 6You know those Weight Watchers commercials starring Jennifer Hudson, where she talks about winning at weight loss? It looks like the former "American Idol" contestant is far from all talk. Hudson, 28, landed the on the cover of InStyle Makeover, and she's showing off all of her hard work in a skintight banded dress. The actress went from a size 16 to a size 6. And if that seems like a lot of change, Hudson said she has a more radical urge to switch up her hairstyle. Behind the Scenes on 'Showbiz Tonight': Will Ali and Roberto last?At least two people on the “Showbiz Tonight” staff watched the finale of “The Bachelorette” – me and our co-host, Brooke Anderson. Executive Producer Dave Levine cited statistics that only one of the four previous “Bachelorette” stars is still with her man, and that's Trista Rehn. We’re going to do the story today, and we want to know your thoughts: Is “The Bachelorette” becoming a big joke? Especially when you add in “The Bachelor” statistics, which show that about 16 out of 19 couples didn’t make it! On the conference call, Brooke piped in saying, “Though the odds are against all ‘Bachelor’ couples, I still love the show!” Do you think Ali and Roberto have a chance at love? Gisele Bundchen: Breastfeeding should be a lawWhen it comes to motherhood, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen has never been shy about expressing her convictions. She told American Vogue in April, 2010, that she kept careful watch over what she was putting into her body while she was pregnant. “I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals. I was mindful about what I ate, and I gained only 30 pounds,” Bundchen said at the time. Similarly, she’s told Harper’s Bazaar U.K. that she’s very conscious about what her 8-month-old son, Benjamin Rein, consumes as well. Justin Bieber to chronicle life in memoir, 3D filmJustin Bieber, 16, has decided it's time he tell his side of the story – as a memoir. HarperCollins has announced that “Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story” will be published in October and will reveal The Bieb’s journey to success. Yet it’s not entirely clear how much writing Bieber will do, since this text is being pegged as an “illustrated memoir," including plenty of photos for the fans. Lady Gaga tops MTV VMA nominationsWell this is a shocker: The same woman whose music videos have been parodied all the way over in Afghanistan - and who is known for publicly describing her fear of getting her creativity stolen through her vagina - is the same woman who has 13 MTV Video Music Award nominations. Lady Gaga, who gave a bloody performance at the awards show last September, is up for a variety of Moonman awards, including “Best Pop Video,” “Best Female Video” and “Best Dance Video,” all for “Bad Romance.” This also means that Gaga has set two new records: The 24-year-old star is now the first female artist to have two videos nominated in the “Video of the Year” category – both “Bad Romance” and “Telephone,” featuring Beyonce, made the cut – and she has the most nominations ever in a VMA show. Sandra Bullock is Hollywood's top-earning actressShe may not have hit the jackpot in her love life, but Sandra Bullock’s finances this past year have been pretty golden. According to Forbes ranking of Hollywood’s highest-paid actresses, Bullock is number one, having hauled in $56 million between June 2009 and June 2010. Despite reducing her fee to play the lead in the film “The Blind Side,” her share of the profits paid off handsomely as the movie earned $310 million at the box office – a healthy return on an estimated budget of about $30 million. 'Simpsons' will see stars next seasonThe show may be entering into its 22nd season, but the “Simpsons” of Springfield are still getting major visitors. “Simpsons” executive producer Al Jean already talked about “Mad Men’s” Jon Hamm signing on as a guest voice on the primetime cartoon, but that’s just the beginning. Fox announced at the Television Critics Association Press Tour that celebs like Halle Berry, Kristen Wigg, Martha Stewart, Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Rudd are among those lending their voices to future episodes. You can expect to hear from “Glee” stars Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Amber Riley as well. Ricky Gervais will also return to the series, in an episode featuring Homer and Bart heading out to Los Angeles for the Academy Awards. Although the witty Brit co-wrote – as well as made a guest appearance – on an episode of “The Simpsons” back in 2006, he’ll simply star in the upcoming episode as himself. 'Glee' creator 'gobsmacked' by McCartney mixtapeWith the heaps of accolades critics and fans mound upon Fox’s “Glee,” it’s no wonder that even the icons are angling for cameos. At the TCA press tour Monday, “Glee” co-creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy admitted that the show’s star status has led to him getting mail from the likes of music greats like Paul McCartney. “I got a mixtape from Paul McCartney a couple weeks ago,” Murphy said. “It was amazing. I thought I was being punked." Who did Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky choose?Last night's season finale of "The Bachelorette" saw a twist that really wasn't, a much-hyped interview that didn't happen and, most importantly, Ali Fedotowsky making a life-altering decision. Rather than have both landscaper Chris Lambton and insurance agent Roberto Martinez go through the whole process of choosing a ring, putting on itchy suits and using shoehorns for the first time in their lives, Ali opted to give one suitor the boot the day before the proposal. That suitor was Chris, who found out about Ali's decision as he prepared to escort her on their final date. Chris was disappointed with Ali's decision, but appreciated the fact that she didn't want to put him through the whole proposal ceremony. Chris later told Chris Harrison on the "After the Final Rose" special that he would go through the journey again to find the girl of his dreams. Do we have the next "Bachelor" on deck here? |
