'SYTYCD' comes into the home stretch

Thursday's results show on "So You Think You Can Dance" kicked off - after an "Alice in Wonderland"-inspired group routine by Mia Michaels, one of the season's best - with the announcement that Lauren is okay to continue dancing in the competition, allowing us to breathe a collective sigh of relief. I don't know how many more of these injuries I can take.

As expected, Billy and Jose ended up in the bottom three. You could see it in Jose's face that he knew he was leaving the show, not to mention the fact that Nigel more or less said it on Wednesday night.

As for Billy, he had one of his best nights ever on Wednesday, but the audience just isn't voting for him. Billy in the bottom three has been like the sun rising in the east lately.

Justin Timberlake: Man of many hats

Remember when Justin Timberlake was just a mischievous but wholesome boy band singer with platinum blonde curls?

Those days have gone “bye bye bye” my friends. Mr. Timberlake has shed his pop-lite persona for one that’s a little more high fashion, and a little something else...

Ever since Target became Tar-jay, A-list celebs and designers have sold their wares to Middle America by creating limited edition lines for the affordable goods chain. Justin Timberlake's William Rast label, created with partner Trace Ayala, will be Target's latest offering in the fashion department, and will include denim, outerwear and sportswear for both men and women. Items will land in stores in December.

Let the fist-pumping commence

Tonight we’ll welcome Snooki and the gang back into our living rooms and watch as the train wreck that was season one sucks us in all over again.

That’s right - “Jersey Shore” is back.

The season begins in “Real World” fashion as the roommates sporadically arrive at their new digs in Miami, which, by the way, blows their old shore house  out of the water. (Of course, the duck phone will be missed.)

The Uninvited: Who won’t be at Chelsea’s wedding?

The guest list for the most talked about wedding of the summer is rumored to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 to 500 people, but when the father of the bride is a former President and her mother is Secretary of State, it’s safe to say that list had to be whittled down a bit.

We already know one very prominent guest who will reportedly not be there, and that’s President Barack Obama. (But the President seems to understand. He told the hosts of “The View" Thursday, “I’m letting you know now: Y’all probably will not be invited to Sasha or Malia’s wedding, either.”)

Joining Obama on the uninvited list is John Catsimatidis, owner of Red Apple and Gristedes supermarkets who, according to the New York Times, has raised millions for the Clintons.

Guillermo del Toro and James Cameron to bring you 'Madness'

Guillermo del Toro is keeping busy.

On the heels of his announcement that he’s adapting Disney theme park attraction “The Haunted Mansion” comes news that he’s teaming up with James Cameron for another project: “At the Mountains of Madness.”

It seems Cameron and del Toro will take H.P. Lovecraft’s tale and spin it for the silver screen in 3-D, with Cameron producing and del Toro manning the director’s chair. Lovecraft’s supernatural horror story follows a group of explorers who come upon a frightening discovery while on an expedition in Antarctica.

Reportedly del Toro already wrote a script with Matthew Robbins back in 2004, and the pair are now reworking it for the current adaptation, which will reportedly begin shooting next summer.

Behind the Scenes on 'Showbiz Tonight': Should Obama have done 'The View'?

Today President Obama pulled off a presidential feat that had yet to be done: He became the first sitting President to appear on a daytime talk show by joining the ladies of “The View.”

Some think he’s trying to garner up support from the soccer moms, and the "Showbiz Tonight" team is looking into criticism that the President shouldn't have gone on a talk show. Was it wrong for the President to go on “The View”? That's the debate we'll be digging into today.

President Obama also delivered a whopper revelation today when he told the ladies of “The View” that he wasn’t invited to Chelsea Clinton’s wedding! What’s that about? Was it a big snub from the Clintons, or a smart move? "Showbiz Tonight" producer Jenny D’Attoma thought the decision was spot-on, saying this morning, “I’m glad President Obama wasn’t invited to the wedding because it’s Chelsea’s day.”
