"Heroes" may no longer be on the air, but that didn't mean that its creator, Tim Kring, was skipping San Diego Comic-Con this year. He was there to talk about his new book, "Shift," the first part of "The Gate of Orpheus" trilogy, co-written with Dale Peck.
The book could be described as a psychedelic, historical fiction, supernatural thriller - not exactly an easy book to categorize.
"The first book is set in 1963 and centers ultimately on the Kennedy assassination," he told CNN. FULL POST
Kim Kardashian has taken a stand against plastic surgery - at least when it comes to fans going under the knife to look like her.
The reality star became upset over the weekend after reading a message from one of her Twitter followers saying she was planning to make herself over into a Kardashian clone.
"I'm getting head 2 toe plastic surgery nxt week 2 look like @kimkardashian so my husband won't leave me. He worships her," the fan tweeted.
Just one month after announcing that she was quitting acting, Amanda Bynes has had a change of heart. Temporarily, at least.
“I’ve unretired,” the 24-year-old actress wrote on Twitter July 23, before plugging a clip of her upcoming romantic comedy, “Easy A,” which arrives in theaters September 17.
Whether Bynes – who plays a religious high-school student in “Easy A” - means she’s back for good remains to be seen. FULL POST
Her spy alter-ego Evelyn Salt climbs across building ledges and hops atop moving trucks, but can she handle traveling with four tots on an airplane?
“Salt” star Angelina Jolie made it look like a breeze as she arrived at Japan's Narita International Airport this morning accompanied by the eldest of her six children, Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, Zahara, 5, and Shiloh, 4.
Holding hands as they made their way through the terminal, the jolly Jolie-Pitts were all smiles. Dad Brad Pitt, 46, was last spotted in L.A., where he is currently filming the baseball movie “Moneyball.” FULL POST
As "decent" shows go, I think I've seen my share. This term applies for any "Entourage" episode described as "nice," "...it was OK..." and/or given the dreaded "...meh" label.
With that said, this week's show, "Tequila Sunrise," was better than "decent" and certainly moved the meter beyond "...meh" - but more on that a bit later.
As of late, "Entourage's" identity has undergone a transformation of sorts. Each of the main characters' storylines have been routinely focused on the development of their own identities (dare I say sans Vince). Each guy in the coattail-riding crew from Queens is largely handling his own business these days, with Drama making steady progress, but still trailing the pack some. Even Ari Gold's business ventures have swung largely in the direction of becoming the actual "King of L.A.," as opposed to his former role on the show as "superstar agent TO the 'King of L.A.'"
At "Glee's" second Comic-Con appearance, creator Ryan Murphy and members of the cast dropped a few hints about the upcoming season on Sunday.
The Gleeks gathered at the Con learned that there will be a "Rocky Horror Picture Show"-themed episode, and that the number of songs this season would only be five or six, instead of eight (citing a desire to bring the show "back to its roots" and focus more on the story).
Later, speaking to reporters, Murphy gave a little more insight into the upcoming Britney Spears-themed episode: "We'll be doing six Britney songs, and Brittany will be doing one [the 'Glee' character, not the pop star]." That episode is set for September, and he was mum about the possibility that Spears herself might guest star. FULL POST
