It was a new Kardashian controversy that had mouths agape in our "Showbiz Tonight" morning meeting today!
Thankfully, this controversy doesn’t involve a sex tape, but there are some provocative photos of one Kardashian sister that has sparked outrage coast-to-coast.
Kim and Khloe Kardashian just posted photos of their sister, Kendall Jenner, rocking a teeny black bikini in a fashion spread. But here’s the big issue we have with the photos – she’s only 14 years-old!
When some “Showbiz Tonight” staffers saw the photos, they were shaking their heads in disbelief. Executive Producer Dave Levine held the photos up and asked, “Is she too young to be posing like this?” Almost in unison, the staff responded, “Yes!”
But Kendall’s big half-sisters don’t agree. Khloe posted on her blog, “I think she’s the next Cindy Crawford…At only 14, the girl is a pro - it's like she was born to do this.” Then Kim Kardashian posted on her blog, “I am so proud of Kendall. She’s going to take over the modeling world…you just watch.”
There’s no doubt Kendall looks absolutely beautiful and the photos are tasteful, but the controversy lies in her age and how sexy she looks rolling around the beach in a bikini. So what do you think? Is Kendall too young for those revealing photos? I’m sure her father, Olympic great Bruce Jenner, will have something to say about this on their reality show!
But the "Showbiz Tonight" staff doesn’t think the Kardashians are the most dysfunctional family in Hollywood. That title easily goes to the Lohans.
In what other Hollywood family do you see the father charged with second degree harassment the same week his daughter is thrown in jail? Michael Lohan is telling his side of the story today and he maintains that he’s “100% innocent.” We’re thinking that no matter what the real story might be, we’re quite sure only the Lohan family could create this kind of ridiculous media circus. So we’re asking in the Showbiz Flashpoint today: “Is the Lohan family the most dysfunctional family in Hollywood?”
I don’t think Michael made the cut for "Showbiz Tonight’s" Most Provocative Celebrity of the Week, but we did keep it in the family by nominating Lindsay Lohan for going to jail. Sarah Palin and Kate Gosselin could also be nominated for the brand new reports that they are teaming up on Kate’s reality show, “Kate Plus 8."
And Cameron Diaz could definitely be in the running for proclaiming that marriage for life is bull. The actress told UK’s Stylist magazine that instead of getting married for life, “Have someone for five years and another person for another five years…” Does Cameron have a point? Or is she going to outrage married women across the country?
We’ll show you what else she said and name the Most Provocative Celebrity of the Week live on "Showbiz Tonight" at 5 p.m. ET on HLN.
And remember, we're still TV's most provocative entertainment news show seven days a week at 11pm ET/PT!
