In today's "Showbiz Tonight" morning meeting, we all thought we were hallucinating after Executive Producer Dave Levine revealed that Donald Trump has reportedly cast Tiger Woods’s alleged mistress, Rachel Uchitel, on “The Celebrity Apprentice."
TMZ.com asked Uchitel if she would do the show and she reportedly said, “Absolutely.”
Oh, but wait, there’s more! I can't help but point out the other mind-blowing “Celebrity Apprentice” possibility: Controversial reality mom, Kate Gosselin, might actually be cast as well. Apparently, the mogul has already propositioned Gosselin.
“Kate would be fantastic on 'Celebrity Apprentice' and we'll see,” Trump told “Extra.” “We are talking to her.” Can you imagine what a TV train wreck that would be if Gosselin faced off against Uchitel?
On the movie front, we've heard that “West Wing” creator Aaron Sorkin has announced he’s making a movie about John Edwards.
Sorkin reportedly got the rights to the tell-all book Edwards’ former aide, Andrew Young, wrote about the politician. In a statement Sorkin said, “This is a first hand account of an extraordinary story filled with motivations, decisions and consequences that would have lit Shakespeare up…”
The news actually lit up our imaginations at the "Showbiz Tonight" morning meeting with a flood of ideas of who could be cast as John Edwards! We’ll reveal our thoughts tonight, but who do you think could play John Edwards in the movie?
There are also brand new developments in two of the biggest legal stories happening in entertainment: Lindsay Lohan and Mel Gibson.
As far as Lohan, we've learned that she reportedly just checked into a sober living facility this week, but is it too little too late to save her from going to jail on Tuesday?
Mel Gibson’s ex, Oksana Grigorieva, will also be dealing with legal matters on Tuesday, as she's scheduled to head to court regarding a restraining order she'd placed against Gibson. Today, we’re going to show you an extraordinary lost interview with Grigorieva that we found buried in the "Showbiz Tonight" archives. Find out what she said about Gibson today live at 5 p.m. ET today on “Showbiz Tonight.”
And remember, we're still TV's most provocative entertainment news show seven days a week at 11pm ET/PT!
