Things might get a bit frosty between Justin Bieber fans and Kim Kardashian, since the 29-year-old E! reality star was spotted with the 16-year-old pop idol at an L.A. Pinkberry yesterday.
Kardashian first upset true Beliebers in May, receiving death threats when she tweeted that she had “Bieber fever” and the tween dream –- who admits to having a crush on the curvy brunette - jokingly referred to her as his “girlfriend” following their May meeting at the 2010 White House Correspondents Dinner.
At the time, the 5-foot-6 singer assured fans that Kardashian was just “a very sexy friend.”
During a hometown concert on Friday at New Meadowlands Stadium, Jon Bon Jovi somehow injured himself and ended up with a torn calf muscle (ouch!) near the end of the performance.
But the damaged leg didn’t slow the legendary rocker down - 'cause, you know, he was already halfway there - and rolled right on with the set, closing the two-and-a-half hour show with everyone’s favorite song to sing along with as loudly as possible,“Living on a Prayer.”
“The injury won’t prevent Bon Jovi from playing any of their upcoming stadium dates this summer,” a spokesperson for the band said. The tour's next stop will be in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on Monday.
Comic book writer Harvey Pekar, the subject of the 2003 film "American Splendor," has died. He was 70 years old.
Cuyahoga County Coroner's spokesman Powell Ceasar says Pekar was found in his Cleveland Heights home by his wife shortly before 1 am on Monday.
His cause of death of has not been determined.
Update, 1:47 p.m.: Cleveland Heights Police Capt. Michael Cannon said that Pekar's wife called the police. He said Pekar "was found motionless on the floor next to his bed."
Editor’s Note: This post contains spoilers for the Sunday, July 11, episode of HBO’s “True Blood.”
When we last gathered ‘round the TV to catch up with Bon Temps’ sexy assortment of supernaturals and conflicted mortals, we found ourselves wading waist-deep in the ongoing plot exposition of this season’s too many new characters and storylines.
But last night, we finally got down to business and settled into the “True Blood” we love and ignore our husbands for.
So, after an attempt to gather intelligence on Bill’s whereabouts ended in an angry snarl of leather and hair product, we find Sookie tending to the physical and emotional wounds of Alcide, who continues to pine for his former fiancée – the as-yet-unseen Debbie Pelt. Debbie, as it turns out, has moved on, and is to be betrothed to Operation Werewolfer - and Bill-kidnapper - Coot.
It was clearly a lovely weekend for a wedding, as four Hollywood couples proved by getting hitched on Saturday.
Wearing a Chantilly lace dress by Monique Lhuillier, country superstar Carrie Underwood, 27, married Ottawa Senators hockey star Mike Fisher, 30, at a luxury resort in Georgia. The sweethearts - whose guest list numbered 250 - will reportedly honeymoon in Bora Bora and Tahiti, reports Us Weekly.
"The Devil Wears Prada" star Emily Blunt, 27, wore a Marchesa Bridal custom gown and a Neil Lane 3-carat round diamond and platinum ring for her stroll down the aisle with "The Office" star John Krasinski, 30, at Villa Deste in Lake Como, Italy.
Welcome back "Entourage" fans! Let's jump right in.
As business-like (and generally "meh") as last week's season premiere episode was, this week's show was a fast-paced party that delivered a nice dose of that old familiar magic. (Wait a minute....did I just make the first two episodes of the new season of "Entourage" sound like a mullet haircut?)
In last week's blog, I took a moment to list some items I wanted larger doses of this season while also mentioning a few things of which I could see less. Apparently, the same HBO gods that delivered my Ari Gold, "we're going to hell, so bring your sunblock," screen saver also heard my cry, and saw fit to grant me more Shauna Roberts!
