Injury isn't stopping Jon Bon JoviDuring a hometown concert on Friday at New Meadowlands Stadium, Jon Bon Jovi somehow injured himself and ended up with a torn calf muscle (ouch!) near the end of the performance. But the damaged leg didn’t slow the legendary rocker down - 'cause, you know, he was already halfway there - and rolled right on with the set, closing the two-and-a-half hour show with everyone’s favorite song to sing along with as loudly as possible,“Living on a Prayer.” “The injury won’t prevent Bon Jovi from playing any of their upcoming stadium dates this summer,” a spokesperson for the band said. The tour's next stop will be in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on Monday. |

I was there that night and it was an amazing concert. Jon was in a lot of pain but he didn't let it slow him down. It was a fine moment from a great performer. This man gained my respect forever.
I LOVE Bon Jovi !!! Jon is such a wonderful man, he's a true artist and an awesome performer, injury or not! Love him and the song Livin' on a Prayer. I totally jam out to that song!! :]
Jon is our SUPERMAN!!! He smiled thru the injury and never missed a note! We all had his back on Friday night – supporting him like his true fans always do! We all carried him out with SONG and the boys helped him off stage!! HE is such a wonderful performer. GREAT SHOW JON! Thank you again for a memorable night!
They were amazing and although he was in alot of pain, he didn't miss a beat and almost seemed mad at the fact that it happened. I think if it were not for the injury he would have kept on because as he said that night "He Had Nowhere To Go"...BON JOVI'S AMAZING.
