Lindsay Lohan seeks a new lawyerAfter the judge handed her a jail sentence, Lindsay Lohan handed her case to another lawyer. Lohan’s mother, Dina, confirmed to HLN’s Nancy Grace Thursday that Lindsay is seeking new legal counsel. Lohan’s former lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, resigned on Thursday, shortly after releasing a statement about her client’s “harsh and unfair” sentence. A rep for Holley would not release any additional details to PEOPLE.com. A woman introducing herself as Lohan’s new lawyer has reportedly been calling the L.A. Sheriff’s department, despite Dina’s assertion that Lindsay “has not yet decided who will be representing her.” Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail and 90 days in a drug and alcohol rehab program for violating her probation. She is expected to return to court on July 20 to begin serving her sentence.

I'm just sayin. This from two sources:
"There is absolutely zero chance of Lindsay winning an appeal because there's overwhelming evidence of her repeatedly violating her probation and the court's orders. That is undisputed." “She could file an appeal, but the judge will set bail and is likely to set it pretty high. Lindsay could drag it out for a few months, but it is not going to go away,” Cron said. “I highly doubt she will be successful, all she can do is buy time, spend lots of money, and be back in the same position a few months from now.”
And, in his opinion, Holley did all she could amid an “extremely difficult” situation.
“I don’t see any faults in what Lindsay’s lawyer did, she was handling a tough case with a client who repeatedly snubbed her duties. The Judge already had her mind made up on the outcome,” Cron added. “I would be shocked if any new lawyer is able to come in and change the sentence.”
She needs to go to jail just like anyone else would if they had done what she did. Also unless she is willing to admit she has a drug problem, the 90 day treatment will be for nothing.
Trial stated two of her missed alchohol classes, due to being part of a Haiti fundraiser hosted in London.
Also on record that Doctors hooked her on uppers to work, downers to sleep, years ago.
Alcohol complicates it.
Dina is in complete and utter denial ... how stupid can anyone be? Poor poor Lindsay, the little brat!! She needs to be locked up and forced into rehab (along with her mother who is an idiot). That girl has done everything she can to ignore the law and snub her nose at the judge and everything she doesn't like .... her stupid party-girl habits are not a "necessary" thing in her life, and if she's so darned concerned about her career, she better darn well clean up her act and get clean!!!!! I'm sick of hearing about her, and at this point could care less if I ever see another film with her!
She needs to thank God she didnt kill anyone because she'd be spending a whole lot longer than 90 days. Its not even 90, it will be more like 75 with good behavior. She thinks because she is a celebrity shes above the law. She needs to tuffen up. She'll find out making romin noodles in the instant koolade containers isnt really that bad.
oh come on people. She didn't hurt anyone. Everyone here has sped and probably driven home a few times with to much to drink. Look in the mirror and let erase these victom-less crimes off our books.
I can't believe she thinks she doesn't deserve a jail sentence. Personally, her sentence should be longer. This isn;t the first time she's had a DUI and endangered American lives.
Lindsey is supposed to be a responsible young woman and a roll model. She needs to take responsibility for her actions and clean up her act. Most celebrities are sentenced to much lighter sentences than the average citizen. Kudos to this judge for showing her that her "celebrity status" is not a "get out for jail free card". Clean up your act young lady.

I mean Downey was caught doing heroin for God sakes. If she needs help, she'll hopefully get help, if she doesn't it's her life. I really don't see how we all can sit and judge someone else...
She seeks a lawyer that will help her get off scott free and not go to jail.

I think Lindsey deserves to spend the entire 90 days in jail if not more-she went to rehab once and has still not learned to tell the truth! I for one will not be looking to see anything she stars in or lends her name too. I am so tired of celebrities getting away with what would put anyone else in jail for a long time!
She's headed for an early grave.
