Joseph Gordon-Levitt isn't jaded

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has come a long way since his days as a child star on “3rd Rock From the Sun,” “10 Things I Hate About You” and “Angels in the Outfield.”

And the 29-year-old “500 Days of Summer” star isn’t done pushing the envelope. Gordon-Levitt will appear alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Ellen Page in Christopher Nolan’s “Inception,” due out July 16.

“When you work on big movies, everybody gets jaded, myself included, and you have to remind yourself: If we were 10 years old, this would be pretty damn exciting. Joe never seems to forget that,” Nolan told Details.

But Gordon-Levitt’s success doesn’t end with the big screen. The actor and self proclaimed pothead started hitRECord.org about five years ago. The site, which has more than 7,000 participants, is a place where aspiring filmmakers, artists and songwriters can collaborate with one another.

“The most valiant thing you can do as an artist is inspire someone else to be creative,” he said.

Check out Gordon-Levitt on the cover of Details, to hit newsstands July 13.

Chris Nolan already said that the joker wont be back in the last movie. And I think Nolan has been hinting at wanting to use Tom Hardy for a villain role. We may be looking at Bane or Black Mask here.

Sorry, but nobody can play the riddler like Jim Carrey.

JGL would make a better Riddler than Joker. I think the Joker character should be left alone for a while. Batman has plenty of other adversaries.

@N. I agree. I think the Riddler would be a more suitable role for him.

The problem here is that Prince is swimming in a pool that is is beyond his depth. He may know things about music and being a celebrity, but he can hardly be considered an expect in the field of telecommunications.

The day may eventually arrive when communications based upon tcp/ip may be replaced by some other mode of data transfer, but data transfer itself will never be obsolete as long as there is a need for data transfer. If new protocols are put in place it is likely that everyone will just think of that as a different type of internet.

Besides, who is this guy Prince? Isn't he someone we forgot about many years ago. He simply has no relevance in the modern music scene.

      Wrong article.
But I agree, every time Prince opens his mouth he reveals how irrelevant he truly is. The time before this, it was about a government conspiracy to drug people using the exhaust of jet planes. His crazy rants wouldn't bother me so much if he was still releasing interesting music, but that hasn't happened in years.

Why not? He looks a hell of a lot like Ledger, and at least as good an actor.

JGL is great. Talented, funny, doesn't seem to have a huge ego. Hope he gets an Emmy nod for his SNL gig!

This might be a longshot, but as hard as this might be or unrealistic as this may sound... he should try out to be the next Joker.
