Ricky Gervais: Steve Carell is doing the right thingRicky Gervais says, despite not wanting to say goodbye to Michael Scott just yet, Steve Carell is making the right decision by leaving “The Office.” “It was expected of me, as executive producer, to persuade him to stay on,” Gervais wrote on his blog. “With syndication in full swing the more successful the show remains, the more billions we all make. It was tempting, but the truth is, I believe he is doing the right thing. He's fulfilled his contract and more, and is a huge film star now." Gervais added, "I'd be lying if I said he should do more. He shouldn't. He should move on, continue to do great work, and buy a new house every time The Office is repeated somewhere.” So who should take over as regional manager of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company? Some fans and bloggers are hoping it will be Gervais, himself. What do you think? |

I say end the show when Michael Scott leaves. End the show while it's still somewhat on top. We hate to see a show grasp on for dear life!
The show isn't very good anymore. They should end it when Steve leaves.
The Office is a great show. But if you feel that you need a bit of written humor, check out this site for some great satire and humor articles.
Here is a link to a hysterical article about the iPhone issue.

ps: w/ those billions ricky maybe u can see a dentist now.
I thought Ricky had decent teeth?
And with my two cents you should go back to your cave, troll.
stevie won't go anywhere if NBC throws enough $ @ him.
I think he just hopes to get a call from True Blood for a comedic role vampire
That would be awesome if Ricky took over... at least for one season and then end the series. That would be a fine full circle end!
I 100% agree with you!
