Will.i.am fights crime with his iPad

Nabbing criminals? There’s an app for that!

TMZ reports that Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am turned to his iPad to take down a crook who broke into his Bentley last week and swiped over $10,000 worth of his personal property. Among the stolen goods: the rapper’s bling and his brand-new iPad.

But the creep should have thought twice about taking the 35-year-old star’s Apple accessory. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that quick-thinking Will.i.am used the iPad's built-in tracking system to locate the thief and forwarded his whereabouts to authorities.

Though the bad guy remains on the loose, most of Will.i.am’s belongings were returned to him.

...maybe his "quick thinking" should have told his dumb-ass not to carry around $10,000 worth of valuables in your car.

Blame the person who gets ripped off instead of the pathetic, loser, thief...is that what we have come to? Just because someone is rich and famous its ok for them to be a victim of a crime? Very disgusting people who blame the victim instead of the criminal...sick!

Well lets see, I bought a Toshiba laptop cost me 3200. Thats goes with me in my car everywhere. My Droid 500 bucks. My girlfriends Ipad another 500 bucks. thats 4200 bucks in three items and i am a broke carpenter lol. Lastly no one expects to be ripped off so before you start talking mess remember that we all leave expensive crap in our cars, you don't have to be super rich to do that.

LOL you bought a $3200 Toshiba laptop? You can buy an Asus with a 5850 (best video card) and with a great processor 720i for about $1200. I thought only Apple ripped off its customers to that extent.

Wow... 3200 bucks for ANY laptop is way too much. The only people I know who would do that are Alienware, Falcon Northwest, and Crapple.

Joe, you seem angry that talentless hack is wealthier and respected by the music industry. When you become a multi million dollar record producer i'll pay more attention to your criticizing but until you quit your job as a loser thats not gonna happen lol
