Well that was quick: Sandra Bullock and Jesse James finalized their divorce.
We here at “Showbiz Tonight” have all been reporting on messy Hollywood divorces for so long that we couldn’t believe how quietly and amicably Sandra and Jesse did this. (If only Charlie Sheen and Alec Baldwin could’ve done it in less than six months…)
But Senior Producer Marc Balinsky was definitely skeptical this morning that we've come to the end of Sandra and Jesse. “I guarantee they will get back together,” he said. “This divorce is going through the motions until the dust settles.”
Guess we know who wears the pants in Jay-Z and Beyonce’s relationship.
Forbes Magazine released their 100 Most Powerful Celebrities list, and coming in at No. 2 is Beyonce Knowles, a good 13 spots ahead of her husband, Jay-Z. Ranked just on top of James “Avatar” Cameron, Beyonce pulled in a cool $87 million last year.
But even the woman who told men all over the world to “put a ring on it” couldn’t take the most powerful crown from media mogul Oprah Winfrey, who came in at No. 1.
In September 2008, Jennifer Hudson was on top of the world with a Grammy, a Golden Globe and a debut album under her belt, not to mention a handsome man in her life.
But less than a month later her world came crashing down with the shocking deaths of her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew. The actress opened up about this tragic turning point in her life for the first time last night during her “Behind the Music” special on Vh1.
“It was all like a blur, it was surreal. It was like I was outside myself,” Hudson said, adding that she spent two weeks straight inside of her room. “I was secluded from anything that was going on.”
For the latest chapter in the saga of "Jessica Simpson and her weight debate," we turn to the East - as in, Eastern medicinal teas and healing.
Eyebrows were raised over the weekend when the soon-to-be-30 singer tweeted, “Shocked my system with a vegan diet, special Pu-erh tea from China, and cupping since friday!"
“Who am I right now?” Simpson added. “This might be too clean!”
Vanessa Hudgens takes a lot of heat for being an actress associated with kid-friendly films but yet can’t seem to avoid getting caught without her clothes on.
But while Hudgens, 21, said she still harbors pain from the infamous leaked snapshots of her topless, she told Glamour magazine that the whole episode has made her stronger. "It sucks because [the photos were] supposed to be private, but at the same time a lot of actresses do it [in movies]," she said. "Eventually, I’m sure that I will [too]. But I don't know if I would be able to do that now."
Yet right from the start, before she grew into a tween idol, Hudgens "wanted to be a nitty-gritty actress," she told Glamour.
Last night's episode of "The Bachelorette" began with Ali in Istanbul, Turkey, expressing confidence that nothing can go wrong.
Then, there's a knock at her hotel room door - it's Chris Harrison, and he's not there to ask for extra towels. No, he was there to tell Ali that Jessie from Toronto - who competed with Ali on the Jake Pavelka edition of "The Bachelor" - had something important to tell her, and after watching Chris attempt to master the nuances of international dialing, Ali and Jessie finally connected.
Jessie tells Ali that Justin the wrestler has a girlfriend named Jessica, who just happens to be sitting next to Jessie during said call. Jessica adds that she's been seeing Justin for two years, and that Justin went on the show for the purpose of furthering his wrestling career. Oh, and one more thing: Jessica believes Justin has ANOTHER girlfriend.
