For the latest chapter in the saga of "Jessica Simpson and her weight debate," we turn to the East - as in, Eastern medicinal teas and healing.
Eyebrows were raised over the weekend when the soon-to-be-30 singer tweeted, “Shocked my system with a vegan diet, special Pu-erh tea from China, and cupping since friday!"
“Who am I right now?” Simpson added. “This might be too clean!”
Although some believe Pu-erh tea can assist with weight loss, Simpson was adamant that she wasn't sipping the Chinese brew to shed pounds.
“Just so everyone is clear.. this has NOTHING to do with weight! It is about understanding my body through hydration and alkalinity,” the singer tweeted, according to Us Weekly.
Master Wang, creator of the Total Vitality program, is the healer Simpson worked with.
