There’s a reason Robert Pattinson makes for such a great vampire, and it’s not just because he has a talent for making pasty look hot.
Family history experts at Ancestry.com have discovered that Pattinson is related to Vlad III Dracula.
Yes, our beloved teen heartthrob shares blood with Vlad the Impaler, the crazy Transylvanian ruler who is thought to be the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s “Dracula.”
Pattinson is connected to the British royal family as a distant cousin to the Princes Harry and William. (They’d probably make good vampires too since Vlad is their distant uncle.)
Vlad ruled Wallachia, a present-day region in Romania, and is infamous for enacting horrifying punishments for his victims.
According to the site even Stephenie Meyer is linked to the British princes, and is therefore also a vampire related to Vlad.
