Looks like Lady Gaga’s love for the New York Yankees is turning into a “Bad Romance.”
One week after the always controversial singer made headlines for flipping the bird at rival team the New York Mets come reports that she had been banned from Yankee Stadium.
Following her beloved team’s June 18 loss to the Mets, Gaga - wearing a half-buttoned Yankees jersey and bikini bottoms - reportedly sweet-talked her way past security and into the Yankees’ clubhouse, where, according to the New York Post, she met with players and drank whiskey. Yankees co-chairman Hal Steinbrenner was said to be furious at the native New Yorker, and the newspaper claimed he had her banned.
But Gaga won’t be saying ta-ta after all, reports ESPN. "She's not banned,” Yankees GM Brian Cashman clarifies. “Celebrities aren't banned. If Michael Jordan showed up here he would have access [to the clubhouse], but not after a loss."
