'The Real World: New Orleans' premieres June 30Ever wonder what happens when people stop being polite and start getting real? Then you’ve probably never watched MTV’s “The Real World.” With more than 20 seasons under its belt, “The Real World” is heading back to New Orleans in the midst of Mardi Gras and a Super Bowl victory. Tune in Wednesday, June 30 as eight strangers take on the Big Easy. And, as always, the cast includes a diverse bunch:
Knight, 23, is a former hockey player who became addicted to pain killers while recovering from an injury. Sahar, 24, is a Muslim American liberal from Michigan. Jemmye, 21, enjoys casual relationships and rebels against the conservative ideals of her Mississippi town. Ashlee, 22, is an athlete fresh out of a relationship. Eric, 24, works at the State Department and is also a stand-up comedian. McKenzie, 21, is a down-to-earth sorority girl from Jupiter, Florida. Preston, 22, is a Boston native with a rocky childhood. And then there’s Ryan, 21, who MTV deems one of the more unpredictable roommates in New Orleans. |

I'm rooting for a hurricane
The cast for Real World New Orleans looks promising. I just hope there is as much drama, juicy-filled gossip, and flying emotions as there was in Real World D.C.
