Princes William and Harry get friendly with a pythonBoys will be boys. Princes William and Harry couldn't resist taunting each other while handling an 8-foot snake at a nature preserve yesterday in southern Africa. First, William, 27, made Harry cringe when he draped the African rock python over his little brother's head. Then, Harry, 25, freaked out William by pointing the reptile's face at the future king's crown.
While they might have been nervous handling the scaly creature, it clearly felt right at home with royalty: The snake relieved itself just inches from William's hand! "It's having a pee," he laughed. "It's obviously very relaxed." |

These two guys are a class act, just like their mother! I wish them all the joy and happiness life can bring!
Charming!!!
Princess Diana would be so very PROUD of her two sons. She raised them right since day one. She instilled values in them that Prince Charles never did. I know she must be looking down from heaven smiling at them. It's so sad that she never lived to see her accomplishment first hand. I know they both feel that void every day, especially NOW that they are coming into their own and will soon be husbands and fathers someday. God bless them.
these young men are following in their mothers footsteps - they have matured & grown & it's nice to see the fun they have too.Blessings. Gail : thanks for that interesting fact,I am sure they did not hold the snake too long but i never knew that fact & I learned something new today. Peace
@nutty...well with the biasness of the western media,if this was a bad news, they would generalise it more.they would "africa" instead of "southern africa". they never want anything good to be mentioned with africa.
The snake relieved itself because that is a defense mechanism. The snake just wanted to be left alone. It is quite smelly and who wants to be urinated on anyway whether it is 4-legged or 2-legged. A rock python is not a snake to mess with anyway. These snakes have a reputation for short tempers.
"Southern Africa" my foot..where in the world is such a place..Poor western journalism. Why cant you write "Princes William and Harry couldn't resist taunting each other while handling an 8-foot snake at a nature preserve yesterday in Botswana".I bet if it was some bad news you would have been more specific as it is your mission to paint African countries with bad brush.

Wow, this is trivial even for a Marquis blog!
Although BP right now is like the devil, this light hearted picture of the Brit Prince's to me, shows the difference of the character of people. While the Prince's show no fear towards snakes, Selma jumped up in panic over a smaller one. Religious based fears like that atrophy a people. I admire that open, modern, forward type mentality of the Prince's.
How is Salma's reaction based in religion???
Actually the snake pee-ing means it is stressed out, not relaxed.
Awww, they're so cute. Young handsome gentleman, full of life! Diana would be proud of them.
I love those two. And spot on phyllis.
Oh, you remember too ?
their mum would be so proud of the two of them.
Didnt we already see Williams python ?
"Didnt we already see Williams python ?"
Do you mean the photos of him peeing when he was like 4 years old. Jeez, I'd forgotten about that. It must have made quite an impression on you for whatever reason.
