It must be a great day to be a new employee at "O, The Oprah Magazine."

Oprah Winfrey swung by the magazine's offices on Tuesday and handed out to all "O" magazine employees an Apple iPad, a personalized leather iPad carrying case and a check for $10,000, regardless of how long the staffer has been with the publication, according to AdAge.

An "O" magazine spokesperson told CNN that Winfrey surprised the staff with the gifts “as a thank you for their hard work and dedication," which, as Gawker posits, just may make her media's most generous boss.

Boys will be boys.

Princes William and Harry couldn't resist taunting each other while handling an 8-foot snake at a nature preserve yesterday in southern Africa.

First, William, 27, made Harry cringe when he draped the African rock python over his little brother's head. Then, Harry, 25, freaked out William by pointing the reptile's face at the future king's crown.

Last night’s episode of my new favorite “Veronica Mars” and “Gossip Girl” hybrid revealed just enough to tell us absolutely nothing about what happened to Alison.

But we did learn a little about the relationship the five girls shared before Alison's disappearance and why they’re all terrified of Jenna...but I’ll get back to that later.

The episode opened with the girls – Aria, Hanna, Emily and Spencer – grabbing a bite to eat after the funeral. After Hanna pours the contents of a flask into her soda (how very Chuck Bass of her), the girls realize that while Alison knew all of their secrets, they never knew any of hers.

You would think Alice Tan Ridley would have already been signed to a record deal by now.

The mother of Academy Award nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe appeared on “America’s Got Talent,” where she vied with other amateur performers for a chance to head to Las Vegas with the show.

Tan Ridley, who has been singing in the New York City subway for years, had a mini-reunion with the show’s host Nick Cannon, whose wife Mariah Carey co-starred with Sidibe in “Precious.”

Although he signed a $7.5 million deal to play “Stretch Armstrong” in a movie about the iconic toy, he chose Olive Garden as the lunch venue for his interview with GQ. “Do you like this place?” he asked GQ’s Mickey Rapkin. “My father turned me on to it.”

New Yorkers hoping to hear rap sensation Drake perform his hit "Over" at a free concert yesterday found that the event itself was over before it even began.

A crowd of 25,000 people - more than double the number anticipated - turned up at Manhattan's South Street Seaport for the show, which was to feature Drake, Hanson, and DJ Ninjasonik. "The crowd was much larger than we anticipated," Paper magazine, who co-sponsored the event with Ray-Ban, explained on Twitter.

In his upcoming movie “Bel Ami,” Robert Pattinson gives “New Moon” a whole new meaning - the actor bares his bottom in the nudity-packed drama.

“I think there's a lot of my crack in it," Pattinson, 24, told MTV News of the film, which is due out next year.

While “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” heartthrob told Jay Leno last night that his parents have no problem with him getting naked on screen (“They’ve seen it all before,” he joked), he admitted that he dreaded dropping his robe for his big reveal.

Last month, Bristol Palin told Harper's Bazaar that Levi Johnston, her ex and the father of her son Tripp, was a "stranger" to her, yet reports have surfaced that their relationship is actually on the mend. In a statement to ABC's "Good Morning America," Palin defines the relationship as "co-parenting."

“I am doing my best to raise a happy, active and healthy boy,” Palin, 19, told “Good Morning America.”

“I believe that wherever possible, if the parents can cooperate and co-parent in a positive way, the child will benefit. Levi and I are turning a new page here as co-parents to this wonderful boy and putting aside the past because doing so is in Tripp’s best interest,” she added.

An article in Us Weekly claimed that Palin is back together with Johnston, quoting an unnamed source close to Palin who said the two are "very close" and "spend more time together than people think."

In case you haven’t had enough “Jersey Shore” in your life, you can indulge in Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s auto-tune drenched, fist-pumping dance single, "The Situation," now available for purchase on all digital retail outlets.

Sorrentino teamed up with Fatman Scoop, DJ Class and the Disco Fries to create this “Jersey Shore” musical spawn, and TMZ posted a 50-second clip of this migraine of a song.

After the introduction lyrics - “We got a situation here" - about half of the brief clip is comprised of “Whoa, Whoa, Situation,” repeated over a background of what sounds like air-raid blasts and an anxiety-inducing techno beat mix.
