Jake Pavelka lands a role on ‘Drop Dead Diva’

We would call this art imitating life, but considering how real reality TV is, we’re going to go ahead and call it art imitating art: Former “Bachelor” Jake Pavelka will be playing a “bachelor-type” on Lifetime’s “Drop Dead Diva” this summer.

In the August 22 episode called "Good Grief," Pavelka will play Toby Davlin, a participant on a dating show called “Finding the One" whose producer is sued for “intentionally inflicting emotional harm” when Pavelka's character picks one bachelorette over another.

“When Jake came into the office to audition for the role, the whole production came to a stop," said "Diva's" executive producer Josh Berman. "Everyone wanted to talk with him. He was so gracious and charming. He was spot-on and won the role in the room.”

This isn’t the first time Pavelka has landed a role outside of reality TV; he played "Young Cordell Walker" on “Walker, Texas Ranger” back in 1999.

'Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami,' this time with a baby

We welcomed Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian back into our living rooms (as well as our hearts...as if they ever left) on Sunday, but the sisters weren't the only two ready to "take Miami."

Scott Disick, Kourtney’s boyfriend/baby daddy, moved down to Miami along with the couple's son Mason, so the family could be together while the sisters fix up the DASH clothing store. The boutique apparently went south after the girls left the Sunshine State at the end of last season.

Khloe wasn't thrilled about moving back to Miami, which meant leaving husband Lamar Odom in Los Angeles, but she said she’d do it for Kourtney, who relies on her DASH income to care for her new family.

Eva Mendes: For my art, I'll do almost anything

If there’s a downside to being known as one of the hottest women in Hollywood, it’s that your humor gets overlooked, Eva Mendes told W magazine in an interview.

“It’s very hard for me to be seen as funny, and the truth is, that’s where I’m most comfortable,” the 35-year-old actress said. “These are the two comments I get from people when they meet me… ‘You seem a lot taller on film,’ and ‘You’re funny.’ If people hang out with me, they see I’m a ham.”

But script selection is no joke to Mendes. Because she’s cast for her looks as much as her talent, she said she’s grown increasingly picky, choosing vehicles that will help her “stretch” as an actress.

Kim K. spotted with Justin Bieber in the Bahamas

Uh-oh. Looks like Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber have landed in hot water again.

The pair, who caused a stir last month when they exchanged tweets, were spotted holding hands and splashing around together in the sea in the Bahamas on June 12.

No, 29-year-old Kardashian hasn’t turned cougar. The E! reality star and the 16-year-old pop idol were simply doing a photo shoot. “Bahamas with my Biebs! Fun shoot!” she tweeted yesterday, along with an image from the set.

Zac Efron gives The Situation a run for his pecs

Call him Jacked Efron!

Though he was in Hawaii, Zac Efron looked like something out of the "Jersey Shore" as he waded in the waters of Maui on June 13.

Wearing a pair of camouflage trunks and a head of wet hair (let's hope that's not gel), the "High School Musical" hero proved he's all grown-up as he showed off his ripped biceps, pumped-up pecs, and a serious six-pack that would make even "The Situation" feel flabby.

The 22-year-old actor, who headlines next month's weeper "Charlie St. Cloud," is in the Aloha State for the June 16 Maui Film Festival, where he will be honored with the Shining Star Award.

No word on whether his six-pack will also get a trophy.

Behind the Scenes on 'Showbiz Tonight': Who's on 'Team Joe'?

It's the start of another week, and that means we're diving back into the juicy Hollywood gossip on "Showbiz Tonight."

Okay, so the edit team wasn’t exactly chomping at the bit in the morning meeting – it’s Monday after all - but we did get fired up at the sound of one name – Joe Jackson. We all groaned at the news that he’s blaming Katherine Jackson for Michael’s death! I can tell you that no one was on “Team Joe” this morning but hey, that’s just us! Do you think Joe Jackson is right? We’re all over this brand-new debate today.

A big OMG moment from this morning's meeting was the news that there may be a FOURTH Gary Coleman will out there – and a new mystery woman who could get everything!

Coleman's former agent to tweet the 'truth'

Two weeks after his May 28 death from a brain hemorrhage, Gary Coleman is still making headlines, and it doesn't look like that's about to stop any time soon.

Following the recent TV appearance of Coleman's grieving parents and the battle over his estate, Coleman's former agent Victor Perillo has established a Twitter account, GColemanTruth, to address negative stories about the late star and his family.

"I am furious that there are people out there profiting from Gary's death by getting paid for spreading vicious lies about the Colemans and tarnishing our wonderful memories of Gary," Perillo, a Coleman family confidant, said in a statement. "We want to be viewed as the voice of reason by always telling the truth and the source for factual information about Gary, his parents, and this tragedy."

Kristen Stewart: Dakota Fanning is the best kisser

Kristen Stewart is not one to kiss and tell - well, sort of.

At a June 12 "Eclipse" press conference in L.A., the actress was asked which of her "Twilight" co-stars was the better kisser: Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner.

"Dakota [Fanning]," Stewart, 20, answered, referring to the 2009 rock-and-roll biopic "The Runaways," in which the actresses shared a kiss. "I'm just going to have to say that because it's easier."

Katy Perry’s World Cup allegiances divided

All's fair in love and football for Katy Perry.

The singer, engaged to British comedian Russell Brand, didn’t pick a side for Saturday’s highly anticipated England vs. U.S. World Cup game. Perry tweeted on the afternoon of the match, “OMG I'M SO DIVIDED RIGHT NOW," (in all caps, just to show the dire straits she was in) and she was even wearing a minidress that combined the flags of the two countries to prove it.

Who knows how she would have reconciled her split allegiance had the game not ended in a 1-1 draw. “EVERYBODY WINS!!! I LIKE THAT," Perry tweeted after the match. "(Plus as an american marrying a englishman... I am DIVIDED).”
