New band leader and theme for 'Tonight Show'

“The Tonight Show” gets a new bandleader Monday night.

Rickey Minor, the former musical director for “American Idol,” will be taking over for the departing Kevin Eubanks. Variety reports that Minor will be bringing a new band in as well as new “Tonight Show” theme.

Eubanks had been with the show for 15 years prior to his departure. He announced recently that he would be taking his band with him when he left the show which is hosted by Jay Leno.

I think this is a fresh start for Jay, and hopefully it works out. But now, who is going to do "Idol"?
