Destiny's Child reunion? Not happening

Sorry Destiny's Child fans, but it's just not going to happen.

CNN received not one, but two statements denying Internet rumors that the R&B supergroup, which split up in 2004, was planning a reunion.

Over the weekend, Beyoncé's publicist said in an e-mail that any rumors of a reunion are false. This was followed by a second statement Monday from Matthew Knowles, just in case you didn't get the message the first time.

“Contrary to rumors online of a Destiny’s Child reunion, there are no plans for the group to reunite for a performance or album,” Knowles said. “Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams have each moved on to successful solo careers. The members remain close, but will not reunite as a group.”

Beyonce of course is more popular but all the women in their own right are talented & blessed. It would be great to see them maybe one day perform one or two songs together at the Grammy's or Am. music awards. We wish them all well. Peace

I remember when the New Kids on the Block said they would never reunite. That is until the money ran out. Same thing with this group. Once the money dries up and the attention starts to fade, SURPRISE, Destiny's Child reunites!

I just love how everyone makes it seem like Beyonce is this fame seeking junkie concerned only with her own self interest. If anyone took the time to follow her career they would know she constantly acknowledges Destiny's Child as being the start up to her solo success. Whether it's in concert or giving acceptance speeches, she pays her respect to the group that launched her career. So, know what you're talking about before you speak because it only makes you look ignorant.

1st of all to all the people who think that Kelly & Michelle having successful careers means they have to have a top ten single or a platnuim cd that is not, I repeat NOT the case kelly is EXTREMELY popular in other contries and has had many successful singles and more than one number one album as for Michelle she has had A LOT of success in gospel music as well as over seas and on broadway here in the U.S. So, beyonce isnt the only one who still has a career Destiny's Child helped all these ladies become very successful and the choice to split was mutual

FYI Michelle is doing theater and is quite good. She is pleased with her career. Kelly is writing and doing her own thing as well. She is happy. And B is doing her thing which we all know is Fabulous. STOP HATING!!!
