Diddy: Bieber deserves to be on the BET Awards stage
You don’t mess with the Bieber. After a bit of dust-up earlier this week because the pint-sized pop star garnered a BET Award for Best New Artist, he took to twitter, saying that “music is color blind.” Now he’s got another defender, Sean Diddy Combs. The hip-hop mogul says that the awards are important to hip-hop because it shows artists in the “right light.” “But the beauty of BET is," he added, "if Justin Bieber’s hot, then he deserves to be on that stage. Sometimes, at other award shows, the color of your skin or the type of music you make takes away from getting the accolade you deserve.”

Ha ts! WET Awards, thats funny. Anyways, this Bieber joker is a fad, to be discarded once he has had his playtime like all the others. Saw him on Today show and I thought he was terrible, whats with all the people on the stage? If you need that much musical support behind you then you suck. The little girls that love him now will grow up to be the ladies today that refuse to admit they still own NKOTB merchandise.
I do not agree with "TS" or "BUZBEECH" this is the media twisting a situation in which was not even REAL Diddy placed comment randomly not stating that BET which is under the MTVN umbrella. BET has another channel like MTV to VH1 its BET & CENTRIC Black Entertainment Television was created when MTV was an all white pop star channel BET holds a culture of there own so hell no they do not need to change there name! What do you mean REVERSE RACISM?!? Are you stating that Racism is a one way street white to black??! If so that alone causes me to think of you as ignorant SAD STORY!!!!
why isnt lady gaga nominated for best new artist if BET doesnt judge off the type of music you make or the color of your skin

if they don't want people making comments about racism, maybe change the name of the awards so it isn't BLACK entertainment television. We don't have a WHITE entertainment television so there isn't a WET awards show giving away Country music awards

Goodluck to him, but for me, so what if he's white, he does "music" anyway and music is universal. I have to agree in the sense that, it doesn't matter what The BIEB's color is, what matters is if he deserves the nomination, then so be it.
