The 2010 Tony Awards will be presented on June 13, and the list of nominees is full of Hollywood celebs. In fact, the show is shaping up to be a bit more like Oscar night than the Tony Awards, with big names like Jay-Z, Will Smith, Jude Law, Denzel Washington, Viola Davis, Sean Hayes and Catherine Zeta-Jones all nominated.
Other notable nominees are Green Day for their musical "American Idiot," Scarlett Johansson for her role in "A View from the Bridge" and Kelsey Grammar for his role in "La Cage aux Folles." "Fela" and "La Cage aux Folles" are leading the pack with 11 nominations, while Denzel Washington's "Fences" is right behind with 10.

I saw this show denzel was fantastic...the went crazy that night
Actor Vijay is a top class tamil actor, he is next super star in Kollywood.
Hopefully they will recognize Barbara Cook. She is still great after 50 plus years in the business. She deserves it!
I love Valerie Harper! Didn't know she was doing theater! I hope she wins! Go, Rhoda!
Having seen the worst musical of my life – the horrible Adams Family, I wouldn't even have given it a nomination for Best Boxed Wine Served During a Musical Intermission Tony!
@ Nellie – Jay-Z co-produced the musical "Fela!", and Green Day's music is the basis for the musical "American Idiot." Relax.
David Hyde Piere's award is for humanitarian and charitable services, not a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Tonys could've at least given acting nods for Bebe Neuirth and
Nathan Lane for "The Addams Family"...Grant you Broadway is getting desperate for musicals when you make a musical about "The Addams Family"...What is coming next? "The Munsters? and a Lifetime Acheivement Award for David Hyde Pierce? He isn't that old to get a Lifetime Acheivement Award... Would be great if "Next Fall" received a Tony for Best Play...A play about gays would make a great
statement for Broadway.
Nellie- if you're waiting for Fanny Brice and Ethyl Merman to come back to Broadway, they can't. They are dead along with the old broadway of yesteryear. Sorry. I hate it too sometimes.
Looking at the nominations, it's the only way the Tonys can drum up some ratings. What a joke, Jay-Z and Green Day?!
The Tonys awards look wonderful !! Big names all over the place and top hat to Angela Lansbury !!!
