Mark Burnett tries another new game showIt seems that if you knock Mark Burnett down, he'll just get back up again. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the reality TV maven - whose Fox game show "Our Little Genius" is currently under FCC investigation - has inked a deal with ABC to produce a pilot for a new game show with an unusual twist. "Trust Me, I'm a Game Show Host" features two hosts, both of whom provide contestants information on specific subjects. The contestants must decide which host is telling the truth and which one is not. The concept appears to be a variation on the classic game show "Liar's Club," where contestants guessed which celebrity panelist was telling the truth about the use of unusual objects. ABC is reportedly searching for the show's hosts, and it's too early to tell whether "Trust Me" will make it to the airwaves. If "Trust Me, I'm a Game Show Host" makes it to air, would you watch it? Who would you like to see as the show's two hosts? |

I thought the game show error went away with the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
sounds DULL, but then I don't get Dancing with Stars either.....
They already have a Newlyweds – run by Carnie Wilson (unless it has been canceled???)
Yeah....I like the idea of a new version of the Newlywed Game show. I miss Chuck Woolery hosting as well.
I don't know about the show itself, but definitely change the title.
Why not have rotating guest hosts....then everyone at some point gets someone they like.
What they need to do is come out with a new version of the old game show 'Newlyweds'.
What about Conan O'Brien and Meghan Mullally?
Yes – this show sounds fun...I root for Ricky Gervais as host.

No way would I watch it. Talk about dumb...
I am a fan of The Apprentice and Hell's Kitchen. I think he shouldn't be given carte blanche for just any game show he happens to think up, but instead, hire me to keep advising "are you sure you wanna do this game show?" Hey , that could be a new game show.....o, oh (are you sure you wanna do this game show?)
see wat i mean
Jon Lovitz as one of the hosts. (While he hasn't done anything much lately, he was notorious on SNL for a number of characters, several of which specialized in fabrications.)
Sounds like it could be very funny. I agree there should be a male and feail host. for the men it should be Mario Lopez, Drake Bell or Abe Vigoda. For the Women, Betty White, Megan Mullally or Neil Patrick Harris.
Or how about David Liesure (the guy who used to Lie for fun and profit?
Burnett has made a living of stealing game show ideas from Howard Stern and then shopping them to networks claiming they were his idea. Both Burnett and that no-talent hack Jay Leno have made a living off of Howard Stern.
Sounds fun!
I'd like to see Charles Barkley and Carmen Electra host a show like this.
HA HA HA HA HA!!! Are you kidding me? Mark Burnett has had success and started the reality revolution, but watch something with that kind of concept? That's, well, laughable.
I'd rather watch C-SPAN.
Yes....I would watch it......A big game show fan......Maybe a male and female host and hostess...Not sure who........
