Jim Carrey is a grandpa!
Jim Carrey, known best for his exuberant energy in films like "Ace Ventura," "Bruce Almighty" and "Liar Liar," is officially a grandfather. The 48-year-old actor posted this tweet on Twitter Saturday: Jackson Riley Santana, My Grandson, Born today! This is what 7lbs.11oz. of Calfornia dynomite looks like! %^> http://twitpic.com/15liwi 1:14 AM Feb 27th via web The baby was born to Carrey's 22-year-old daughter Jane Erin Carrey, who he had with his first wife Melissa Womer. Womer and Carrey divorced in 1995. Carrey later married his "Dumb and Dumber" co-star Lauren Holly. They divorced less than a year later. This was Jane Erin's first child. Guest, for the record my last name goes way back before Catholicism and Christianity where just a twinkle in Jesus’ eye. I am also not catholic nor Christian. That being said, the catholic Pope of Rome’s obligation is not to spread lies but to warn against falling for them. I am not the Pope of Rome but I do take not inoculating your kids very seriously when barbaric diseases thought to be eradicated decades ago are making a comeback in the modern world. Ask your parents or grandparents how many people they new growing up with polio and
how much pain everyday these polio stricken kids had to endure. That’s why I find no humor in Jim Carrey anymore. Its great he has a healthy baby grandson but its down right dangerous the outright false lies he continues to spread. Until he stops wrecking small helpless innocent lives, what’s there to be happy for or celebrate about Jim Carrey?

Yes Tony, we do live in America and thank god you can say what you want. But just because you can yell fire in a movie theater doesn’t mean you should when there is no fire. Freedom of speech is useless without being responsible while exercising your freedom of speech. Jenny and Jim can say and believe what they want. They are both talented people (or at least Mr. Carrey is) which has given them a much bigger voice then you and I have due to their celebrity status and that’s not a bad thing. That’s something they earned. But that does not excuse using it irresponsibly by spreading life threatening bad information that's just not true. It is a shame it overshadows the birth of a beautiful innocent baby. But who speaks for all the innocent babies that Jim and Jenny's lies have affected?
I used to really like Jim Carrey. If it weren’t for his life threatening lies he continues to spread, I’d be congratulating and praising Mr. Carrey along with everyone else.

Jim Carry is just as responsible for spreading Jenny McCarthy’s medical lies because he stands right next to her nodding his head and spewing the same misinformation in every interview I have seen them together in. Are you saying he does not believe inoculations are bad when he’s not with her just because they are not married? Really?

Mr. Jim Carry, for the sake of humanity, stop killing and crippling kids by giving dangerous misguided medical advice on advising against childhood inoculations. You’re helping bring back an epidemic of deadly and crippling childhood diseases worldwide that where all but eradicated decades ago. You’re not a doctor or a research scientist. But you are very irresponsible by using your celebrity stasus to spread outright scientific lies and selling bunk medicine. You’re an outright danger to society.
Instead, please, please, please use your celebrity status to fight the very real boogie man in children’s closets all across the world like childhood hunger or poverty or child abuse. Leave giving medical advise to those who are actually qualified to give it as you are not.

Congrats Jim...and the entire family...but honestly...can anyone here imagine having Jim Carrey as a grandpa? I can see soooooo many laughs in the future in this household...what a cool person to have around...funny faces, funny jokes...you name it. I never knew my grandparents at all...sure wish I could have had one like Jim...:-)

My grandpa used to talk to me about how the "Viet-meese" were coming to this country to take our jobs. I was 6. Not cool grandpa. Not cool.
