Maxwell 'grateful' for Grammy winsIt seems as though singer Maxwell's comeback has been a hit. The smooth crooner scored two Grammy Awards on Sunday night – best R & B album for "Blacksummersnight" and best male R & B vocal performance for "Pretty Wings." Backstage the singer said he just couldn't express how grateful he was for his wins. He said he wants to be a messenger to the people for his music. As for his duet of "Where is the Love" with the legendary Roberta Flack, Maxwell said he believes she has one of the most amazing voices.

I saw MAXWELL in concert in Chicago in 2009! It was sexy, cool, and very well executed!!
I'm glad to see that Maxwell won a Grammy. It was long overdue.

Maxwell started off his career making amazing music, and returned after 8 years to do it again. "Pretty Wings,"is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard in a long time. His voice, his lyrics and instruments are above the rest. He so deserved those Grammys!
