Diving into the reporter's den after winning the Golden Globe for the best performance by an actress in a dramatic television series, Julianna Margulies had to sidestep quite a pointed question.

A reporter asked: Julianna, you play a wife who has been scorned and gets on TV. What advice do you have for Elin Woods?"

Julianna's response? "I'm not going there!"

Wise, wise words.

Whoever went to the GGs is obsessed with Tiger. Murphy me! First the big love chick, now this chick. Let's ask everyone if they have advice for Elin...really? Everyone? Tiger has nothing to do with acting and neither does his wife...what a waste of a question...and not one but two articles...

I really hope it is only one person who can't tell the difference between golfers and actors....It's not like it's hard to ask questions of an actor without having to go into the gossip route and it's not going to garner you any favour the next time you try to get an interview.

In three articles it sounds like this person went and asked totally irrelevant questions...Monique wins but this person wants to talk about rihanna, Big love actress wins but this person wants to advice for Elin (like Big Love is real), this chick wins.....and still the question is Tiger...really?

Even if it wasn't this reporter asking the question there is nothing noteworthy about it. Shall we ask the new Mass senator how he feels about Tiger too? And report his confusion about being asked that question as side stepping a land mine?

why couldn't the reporter just congratulate Julianna Margulies, and leave it at that? Why give Tiger Woods more publicity??? He's a jerk for what he did, to his lovely wife and beautiful children, and all his fans are disappointed in him.
so what if he's a good golfer!?!?! He's not a nice man or husband, that's for sure.

Way to go Julianna Margulies on your win. That's a great show and we love it.

This is the "dumbing down" of journalism....too much texting, etc. People no longer know how to "talk" to people, so of course the most simple and dumb questions will be asked...unbelievable!!

It was asked by Ted Casablanca of E! I sure hope he realizes that he is a soulless wanktard.

with al the trouble in the world...with all the ground breaking movies...the press is still locked into Tiger Woods?
A more appropriate question might have been are you participating in any kind of relief for Haiti?

So what – now it's news when someone DOESN'T SAY ANYTHING?

What ever happened to journalistic standards?
