Chris Brown does community service

Chris Brown has been spotted doing his court-ordered community service.

The singer was sentenced in August to serve five years probation and to spend more than 1,400 hours in "labor-oriented service" for assaulting his pop star girlfriend, Rihanna.

CNN affiliate WTVR posted photos of Brown clearing brush at the Richmond Police horse stables in the singer's home state of Virginia.

On Wednesday, the singer was shown wearing a reflective vest and red cap working in the area around the stables. Hours before Brown posted “on my way to community service...” on his Twitter account.

The singer must also complete domestic violence counseling and the judge also put a restraining order in place, requiring Brown to stay 50 yards away from Rihanna, 10 yards if the two are at the same industry event.

The judge issued a strict warning to Brown not to violate the order, which remains in place until 2014. During an appearance on "Larry King Live," Brown expressed remorse for the incident and said he still loves Rihanna.

The only interesting thing here is that, both Chris and Rihanna still love each other. The lession is not for Chris alone but for all of us.

The cool thing here is that after a couple of weeks, the news about this wonderful "gem" of an individual will disappear....just wait for that smile 4 months from now, after he works enough hours to get "college credit" for picking up trash out there in Virginia and no one cares enough to give him any attention...
WATCH THAT SMILE TURN UPSIDE DOWN :)

    P.S. 1400 hours=35 weeks at full time (40 hours) / 8 months full time
    ENJOY, CHRIS

She may have hit him but he beat her. Now he has gone from world famous entertainer to being caught on camera doing FORCED community service. This footage should embarass him enough to think twice about beating another woman. Hopefully his anger management classes teach him NOT to beat women.

I stand by my comments...a real man never hits a woman unless she is trying to kill him. All this crap about her hitting him first is pathetic...didn't see any marks on him.....

As a real woman the only time I have had to strike a male is after I told him "no" more than once. as a rule it is cowardy to strike or hurt anyone or thing (Vick) smaller than you physically.

Debra..Come on, "A real man never hits a woman"??????? Welll a real woman should never hit a man...Im not condoning anyone fightning but Rhianna should have kept her hands to herself... She didnt deserve to get beat like that but i honestly feel that she was the aggressor.... or contributed to it and should have to acknowledge her part in it

    Re: pistol pete
    Right. All those black victims.

Kayne: Obama got that one right (the one thing I agree with him about)

Chris Brown: a real man never hits a woman unless he is in danger for his life

Michael Vick: What a big man he is torturing animals for money

and comparing to offering self serving apologies and picking up trash to lynching are you OUT of your MIND?

If you want to see what a real black man is take a look at Will Smith or The President.

im glad that he is at least trying to abide by his community service. better than some people who dont even bother w/ it.
i dont condone any one hitting anyone...rihanna may have struck him in the past , or snooped on his cell, but doesnt warrant a beat down. a man should be able to control him self/ remove himself from the situtation and a woman should never ever put herself in a mans position( by hitting him first)

I can not believe some of these posts...So she hit him and that makes it okay for him to beat her the way he did, absolutely not. If he truly felt threaten he could have put her out of the car or hey call the cops on her. I know someone who hit her husband and he called the cops and had her arrested, he never hit her back. I think they both need counseling for their anger issues and physically abusive ways. I hope they both get the help they need.

Pistol Pete: Michael Vick as a victim? You support his actions? Torturing and killing animals just for the pleasure of doing so? Chris–beating up his girlfriend? Please. Kanye doesn't belong in the same group–yes, he has alcohol issues and obviously could use a refresher course in good manners, but I don't see him getting off on physical violence.
And yes, Black males wake up!!! Don't accept behaviors that you personally would not do just because members of your ethnic group are involved. Violence is not a genetic trait of black males.

This is getting a bit ridiculous. No......I don't agree with men hitting women....but I also don't agree with women hitting men. No one really knows EXACTLY what happened on that night (except for yeah....he apparently did hit Rihanna....which iz wrong...and if she hit him....that iz wrong as well).....so therefore no one should be talking. For hitting a female....yes Chris was wrong for putting his hands on a female....but all this judging...calling him a monster...c'mon people!! A monster?? Well.....according to what I know...God said that there'z no sin greater than another....so if you've lied....cheated....done anything ungodly.....or any wrong doing...then guess what...YOU'RE A MONSTER TOO!! =) God loves everyone....good or bad...and I think that if He can forgive us for all the trifflin' thingz we do as people each and every day....just by kneeling down and repenting.....with the intent not 2 do it again of course.....and y'all act like y'all can't 4give Chris for his wrong doing?? And I'm sick of this whole "role model" crap! YOU should be ur child'z role model! God.....or a family member.....not a celebrity! If your kids grow up thinking that every thing iz "peechy keen and rainbow'z".....that celebritiez are not human too....so they may make mistakez stumble from time to time....then AMERICA...we definitely need 2 all sit down and have a 1 on 1 with our children and let them know how it really is! Bottom line.....if people paid more attention to their OWN business...instead of other people'z....then maybe we can get somewhere in the world! Chris...Rihanna....Beyonce'.....all of them Celebritiez.....they are all human just like we are. People make mistakez....the point iz 2 learn ur lesson from it....and move on!! So with that said...Chris...I hope you take this as a lesson learned...grow from it.....and strive 2 be better than before!! Remember....only God can judge you! Best of luck 2 u Chris......

*THIS MESSAGE DOES NOT MEAN I "CONDONE" ANYTHING....JUST STATING THE FACTZ*

I am so sorry for both of the young people. this is a sad situation, I have two sons, and one daughter. I have always told my some there is no reason to hit there sister, but I have also told my daughter not to provke her brothers. When you become angry all type of things can happen, so I feel that Rhianna should face the music, and admit to her part in the fight, because I believe this was a fight I dont think that Chris just started beating her, I believe she played a big part in the confrontation. Chris is doing his community service, so he young and he deserve another chance. But Rhianne needs to speak up and admit the part she played in all of this, and get conseling for herself, or this will happen again, but this time it will be with another person and the outcome might not be the same. Chris hold your head up, and do not makethe same mistake twice.

Brown's a horrible, horrible man, but don't let Rihanna off free, either. By not condemning Brown's actions, and initially standing by his side despite his felonious activities, Rihanna became a disgusting example of immorality and selfishness. She and he are both to be disowned as role models and stars and should be pointed out to our children as bad people illustrating how life is not to be lived.

What a sad state of affairs that a judge can dictate useless punishment for person based on status and not justice. He is being punished for being a celebrity but not being used for his celebrity to affect change regarding domestic violence.

It is sad to say but race is also a huge factor with many black male celebrities being required to subject themselves to embarassing "public apologies", severe finacial penalties and unfair character assasination a.k.a. Modern day lynching !!!

This new form of lynching attacks minorities financially, economically and emotionally. Recent victims Kanye West, Michael Vick, Chris Brown

    Black males wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While I don't support hitting women, She should be going to jail. Don't ever let a women hit you these days, they will use it and turn it around on you. Don't ever go in a not public place and have an argument because they will manipulate the situation, and you will lose, especially in California. It is a growing trend in this country, and as admitted by a Santa Clara county District attorney – a severe trend in California that women have been caught discussing and caught conspiracy charges for.

    Chris,
I'm glad to see you getting started on your community service requirement. Don't forget to sign up for your anger management course so you can put this horrible event behind you. The course will help you identify why you became so angry and abusive. Whether you realize it or not a lot of young people look up to you.

Remember that your gift to entertain is god given and must be respected.

Stay strong and be about your business.
    A fan forever!
