OJ and Chris compared...both beat women, both are black and both got off very lightly. Rihana (black) came out of the relationship better than Nicole (white)....so i guess Carol means it is OK for a back man to beat a black woman just so long as he does not kill her? maybe those of us Scotish-Irish Americans care more about African American women than they do about themselves.

Abusive individuals no matter what race or creed should be treated the same. Chris Brown broke the law of the land and the standards of morality that most of us share. This is an issue where race is clearly not the issue, however it is being interjected, by someone I can only assume has great racial issues herself. Maybe just maybe if the black community in this country would stop labeling themselves as "African Americans" and call themselves simply Americans that would begin to make these pointless race claims null and void. After all I dont call myself an "Irish American", and "English American", or a "German American". I am simply Amercian, and so Carol, is Chris Brown, and he should be treated as such.

Interesting how Chris Brown was just compared to O.J. Simpson by the white commentary team on the Issue with Jane Valez. Tread lightly as the African American community is watching and can and will turn you off. Also more interesting how Fawcett son received positive back from blonde in green that it could be a great thing for a constant drug addict deserves a second chance and a reality show. More interesting then all the above is that a reality TV star has sliced and diced a women's body and you play a tape of his mother saying he is not guilty. Finally look who is a recoverying drug addict and has her own show. It appears that many have been given a second chance and got to write a book on the details. So how about considering a second chance for young African American male American public.
