Reynolds will do great, but he is no Jensen Ackles.

Wow.. Ryan already played Hannibal King, and is going to reprise his Wade Wilson/Deadpool role and NOW he has the Green Lantern!!!
Can we just sign him up as the hottest comic book actor there is!!

Don't forget he also was in Blade Trinity, the 3rd installment of the comic book Blade series. If you need a sarcastic hero, he appears to be your guy. :-)

Kay–we could just sign him up as the hottest actor there is...:D It's all good.

Gotta say, though, i can't name a better looking couple than he and Scarlett Johansson...

Talk about an actor on top of his game right now. Ryan Reynolds. Tho hit movies this summer (couldn't afford to see Wolverine and can't stand love stories). Now, Green Lantern. Pretty good choice. DC needs to expose characters other than Batman and Superman. Hope this one is as good as Batman Begins and Dark Knight, as well as Iron Man. Three of the best comic book films every made.

have we all forgot that the green latern is depicted as an "afro-american" in today television version of the character

John Stewart, the afro-american Green Latern is just another lantern. Remember there is an entire Latern Corp. policing the whole universe. They will probably make Reynolds portray either Hal Jordon or Kyle Raynor.
