Reaction to Donald Trump’s firing of Carrie Prejean is pouring in. Perez Hilton, the judge and celebrity blogger who asked Prejean about her stance on same-sex marriage told Showbiz Tonight:
“Better late than never.”
Prejean’s controversial response to Hilton’s question, that she “believe[s] that a marriage should be between a man and a woman” sparked a media firestorm.
Shanna Moakler, the Miss California USA co-executive director who resigned after Trump initially refused to fire Prejean, tells us that:
“First and foremost, my faith has been restored in the Miss Universe Organization and with Donald Trump. I believed eventually what I intimately knew would come to fruition.”
We will have much more on Showbiz Tonight at 11pm Eastern and Pacific on HLN.
