Sometimes it's hard to determine what makes an actor go from playing the third extra at McDonald's in that terrible, straight-to-DVD movie to playing the leading man in next year's top romantic comedy. But with Bradley Cooper it's easy for me to see why he's (almost) risen to the Hollywood A-list.
Cooper is one of the stars of this weekend's comedy "The Hangover." You've seen him before - he played the jerk boyfriend of Rachel McAdams in "Wedding Crashers," the wing man of Matthew McConaughey in "Failure to Launch" and the cheating (with Scarlett Johansson... um, can you blame him?!) husband in "He's Just Not That Into You."
CNN's David Daniel has more on Cooper's career in this video:
When I first saw Cooper in "Wedding Crashers," I was immediately drawn to him. Despite the fact that I hated his egotistical character, I loved his comedic timing. Of course, it didn't hurt that he's not at all bad looking! Since then, Cooper has impressed me in film after film. His role in "The Hangover" is absolutely hysterical. I want to believe he's headed for the top, but what do you think? Is Cooper our next Brad Pitt? Matthew McConaughey? Or is he destined to be a forever sidekick in Americans' hearts?
A-list. Without a doubt. He's awesome!!!!!!! I'll be routing for him for sure. Great looking, great personality, intelligent. He has it all. I'll go to any movie he's in.
I loved Bradley Cooper when he stared in ALIAS with Jennifer Garner, and I thought he was a very capable person who could master different roles. I can't wait to see what he comes out with in the years to come!
We've seen this movie who knows and high-tech too in a big screen at a theater, that's how good we are and I don't Jamie, it was funny, no question about it BUT I think we all know what is the most funniest movie of all time...(wait for it)...Dumb and Dumber! LOL!!! That movie til this day, is one of the most spectacle, stupidest, unorthodox, Paula Abdul like, etc movies I ever seen, is freaking hilarious! And I noticed the MTV Movie Awards had a pretty bad rap this year and I will admit, I used to watch it back then but now, ohh no, I got the memo a long time a go thank you very much. I mean, one of m favorite parts in the show was when Jim Carrey was dressed up as this hippi looking dude and was drunk and was saying, "Bad to the Bone! Ba, ba, ba bad! Bad to the Bone!" LOL!!! Dude, that was part is the best part ever...but yeah, the Awards suck now, they're O.K but I'm telling you now, if its your first time seeing it, watch out...
You know what's one of my favorite parts in Dumb and Dumber? When Lloyd picks that girl up, Mary I believe and takes her to the airport, then he says to her, "So, where you heading?" Then she responds, "Aspen." And he's like, "Hmmm, California, beautiful..." LOL!!!!! :) Hilarious!!
To tell you the truth, one of my favorite sound bytes are not like those of experts or editors to name a few, they are WAY different. Heck, here and there, I'll take a line from a movie and use it on a girl and bet me I won't get her...for real, bet me, LOL!!!
I've loved him for a long time, and The Hangover was Awesome. I'm still laughing 3 days later. It has to be one of the funniest movies I've ever seen... TOP 5 no doubt! Brad's extremely funny, and hot.. I know he's on his way to the a-list ( I think he's pretty much there). I hope to see him in many more films. Although I doubt they can ever beat this one.
