It was a gag folks!
Just in case you were losing sleep over whether or not Eminem was in on the joke at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, he's gone on record to www.rapradar.com about the incident. We're talking about the stunt where Sacha Baron Cohen, after swinging across the audience on a wire, landed face first in the rapper's lap, with his naked rear conveniently cradling Eminem's face.
When asked about it being staged, Eminem told the site that he was a big fan of Cohen and agreed to go along with the gag. The rapper said that they "pulled this off better than we rehearsed it."
So what about storming out of the auditorium? Eminem tells rapradar.com that he went back to his hotel and laughed uncontrollably for about 3 hours. Especially after seeing it on air.
Have you taken a look at the latest Newsweek cover? Oprah graces it and the picture isn't terribly flattering. Neither is the accompanying article.
The world is full of Oprah fans and detractors. There are people who absolutely love her. They literally buy every word that flies from her mouth. She is the talk show host with the Midas touch. A wave of her wand, an endorsement from Oprah turns a product into a gold mine, whether it's a book or a few of her "favorite things".
But as can be expected not everyone is a fan. Her detractors will tell you that she's somehow managed to take unsavory topics, similar to those on the Jerry Springer and Maury Povich shows and serve them up in tasty bites, so the viewer doesn't feel like they bellied up to the buffet of life and stuffed themselves silly.
This Newsweek article acknowledges the talk queen's successes and what it deems her failures; mainly topics that touch on health, medical treatments and research.
"For 23 years, my show has presented thousands of topics that reflect the human experience, including doctors' medical advice and personal health stories that have prompted conversations between our audience members and their health care providers. I trust the viewers, and I know that they are smart and discerning enough to seek out medical opinions to determine what may be best for them."

There is a new battle between Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie! No, the newly single Jen isn’t making a play to get her ex-husband back; the three are battling it out for the top spot on the Forbes Celebrity 100 Power List. Angelina beat out her former romantic rival for the number one spot this year dethroning Oprah Winfrey who had held the top spot for the past two years! Oprah slipped down one spot to number two.
Even though Jen lost out to Angelina for the number one slot, she still placed ahead of Brad on the list. Jen came in at number 8 while Brad ranked number 9.
Here is a look at The Top Ten:
Jon Gosselin has had enough. He is tired of all of the paparazzi surrounding his house; “I always think, Enough is enough already, and they should just move on to somebody else…” It has become so normal though that they have reached a kind of agreement of sorts, “They know the rules about not photographing on school grounds, so I’m gonna drop my kids off at school.” Jon is speaking out for the first time in the new issue of People magazine about what his life has been life over the past few months and how he is coping with all of the controversy surrounding the new season of the family’s reality show.
While Jon is very outspoken about his dislike of the paparazzi and tabloids, he is more reticent to talk about his relationship with Kate. Every time he is questioned about it in the article the newly media trained Jon gives the same answer; “It’s a private matter, and we’re discussing it privately.” With cameras following him everywhere- not only outside of his house, but inside as well, one wonders if Jon really believes that anything can truly be private in his life anymore.
The only time you really feel that Jon brightens during the interview, which the interviewer notes as well, is when he speaks about the children. He talks about each of them in detail, giving insight into their personalities, and a different side of Jon emerges- that of a loving, devoted father- not the lost man Kate claimed he was in her own People magazine cover article several weeks ago.
What do you think? Should Jon and Kate stay together? Should they stop putting their family through this traumatic time in front of the cameras?
We have all of the latest breaking details on this story including Jon’s response to accusations that he and Kate are exploiting their children on Showbiz Tonight at 11pm Eastern and Pacific on HLN- don't miss it!
Meet Greece's version of George Clooney - sexy, smooth and seductive. Alexis Georgoulis stars in the new film "My Life in Ruins," which looks remarkably similar to "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" (especially since they feature the same actress, Nia Vardalos!)
In the film, Vardalos' character is a Greek American tour guide whose tourists are more interested in t-shirts than culture. Of course, things heat up when she falls in love with her bus driver. The film's stars and its producer talked with CNN about the comedy and Georgoulis' steamy appearance:
Rapper 50 Cent is filming a new drama, "Caught in the Crossfire," in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Sandra Bullock's film, "The Proposal," is due in theaters on June 19. And Neil Diamond has signed on with the Boston Symphony for their annual July 4 show.
