Top 2: I just live for Seacrest's introsThe "guy next door versus the guy-liner?" So clever Ryan. Kris looks like a munchkin next to Adam, but since Kris won the coin toss, he chooses to go second. Very smart. All of the judges look so nice tonight. Very relaxed. Kris and Adam will sing three songs: their favorite performance from the season, a song show creator Simon Fuller chooses and the winner's single co-written by Kara. I pray she is a better song writer than she has been a judge. I second Ryan's emotion to set your recorders tomorrow for the show to go long. Remember last year when some folks saw and heard "And the American Idol is David" then the DVRs cut out? Tragic!! |

I would have liked to see Danny and Adam in the final. Sorry Guys , but I find Kris to be TOTALLY BORING and with much less talent as an artist than Adam. Religion shouldn't have a darn thing to do with this competition. I am a Christian mother in her 50's. I look forward to watching Adam Lambert's singing career bloom after this competition is over. G O A D A M !!!!!
MICHAEL JACKSON on AMERICAN IDOL, tonight?
I think that Kris is a good singer, if you like the kind of songs he does, would I buy his CD'S ....NO...would I go see him sign somewhere..NO. but Adam shows us all just he is made up, takes the chances in all his songs he sings, puts everything he has in to each song and has a talent beyond any one that has every been on American Idol in all 8 years. PS...I'm 61 years old and yes I would buy every CD he puts out.
I agree with Arcy........get Kara (sourpuss) out of here! Almost every show ran over this season because they had 4 judges! I never liked her and don't like her even more now that I heard that lame song she made the guys sing! Where did she come from anyway? Is she somebodies kid that needed a job???
Did anyone else notice that Kara seemed desperate to spank Paula and Simon throughout the episodes. She appears to possess an insecurity being on the panel. She gloats at her own words and peers down the line to Simon when its his turn to speak. It appears disrepectful. She gloats like she chalked one up and attempts to annoy Paula and Simon. I noticed they are ignoring her behavior these last two episodes. Forget it Kara, you can not be the leader of the the pack. So, stop trying. We already know who that is, it is Simon. Her words, actions, body language, appear to show that there is a personality conflict that exists between Kara and the icons, Paula and Simon in which Kara appears to be somewhat vendictive and childish from my view. Get her out of there before she makes a bigger fool of herself and so I do not have to dread having to watch her compete with Paula and Simon next season. She took some of the fun out of listening to the panel. Her behavior is inappropriate for the show. I hope you replace her with a judge with a sense of humor to balance the panel as it once was.
Ghost9- has anyone told you to get your hearing checked? Probably but you can't hear obviously so how would you know? I'm sorry everyone is entitled to their opinion but were you watching and listening to the same show as the rest of us? Also I think you need glasses. Kris, WHOM I LIKE ALSO, always sounds and looks the same – average and boring most of the time but capable of doing really well sometimes. Not consistent enough for me or anything really special about him. Definitely not unique enough either. He's just OK. He does have potential though. Adam may not be everyone's type but you can't deny his ability or emotion. Adam has talent, range, emotion, uniqueness, versatility, and consistency within his performances even when surprising us and changing up his look and song styles. He is AWESOME. No comparision!

This guy gives every chic out there an adam-gasm
kris seems to have been the winner tonight.
He sang his choices with soulfulness and emotion.
Kris took that awlful song kara wrote and made sound decent.
All season we've heard about song choices making or breaking the contestants and kara trots out that boring terribly written song and put some life into it. It clearly drug the whole hour to a screaching halt. I'm glad he perform the other two great.
Adam seem to struggle with where to go with kara's song.
He should have taken it straight to the garbage.
His first song was cool but was'nt anything special.
The sam cook song was souless and lacked emotion.
Once again it was like he was sleep walking to the build up and from then on it was just sreaming. I did'nt feel the pain. The expression of the song was lost in the theatrics. He will big on Broadway!
I have to say again kara's song was just awlful.
It sounded like she just listened to the Carrie Underwood song Home Sweet Home and tried to duplicate it.
Shame on you!
Shame on all of the judges for there pandering towards Adam.
Really it was to obvious of what they steered the finale towards all season.
Get that forth judge out of there. No need for one. Her co-written song was aweful. The judges even said it themselves.
And Ryan, though you already know this, you are one great host. I agree with how you show your heart with the families. Don't lose touch with the ground. Congrats on your success.

Keep voting for Adam. Don't let Danny's voters win. Adam has been, and is the best on AI this and any year. Hey what about an "All Stars" AI? Have all the winners back and see who wins that.!

Lavon, Kris may win because I think Danny Gokey's votes will go to Kris by about 85%. That's a big factor... enuff to make a sea change.
Your prayers weren't answered, sorry to say. That last song was insipid. No one should be forced to ever sing it again.
Adam should be the winner because with that voice and personality he is definitely what the American Idol should be. However, I think Kris will win it because more people will vote for him–not because he is has such a great voice or what the American Idol should be.
I love Adam to the ends of the earth... and I also love Ryan Seacrest. I especially love Ryan during the auditions when he chats with families. He is so kind to all the old folks and the wee tots, too... and he genuinely enjoys this interaction. His smile is beyond huge, he is so happy when interacting with family members. I love that about Ryan. Also, fundamentally Ryan is a kindhearted person... and it shows... and I admire that about him... and love him for it. Never ever change, Ryan. You are brilliant in this American Idol host position.
Fortunately the contestants have a different first names this year so it shouldn't be a problem
Adam is so unbelievable, how he just sang that song Sam Cooke would be proud. This guy brings such grace to the stage not only his voice but presence, for me thats what a performer is all about. Looks like I'm in for a long night voting but it will be worth it. Go Adam........
Will the winner's song be a sappy, insipid ballad...YES! Will Adam and Kris "make it their own"? YES...but, only if it worth salvaging.
I was just absolutely blown away with Adam Lambert..it took me all season to warm up this guy..but I have to tell you ...he carried that song all the way tonight..I thought he would scream towards the end but he pulled his tone down and finished the song 'glorious'. I would buy this version...beautifully done!
Adam is a hard act to follow...might not be the best idea.
AND Fox could quit trying to squeeze every last advertising dollar out and actually keep to their time limit on results shows.
I never watch this live just to avoid all of the commercials. I watch it on delay so I can FF through commercials. HA !
