I am so glad Adam is in the bottom three! My two favs are safe!!!!!!! Maybe this will take the self-centered, gloating attitude down a notch if he doesn't go home. I would love to see him go home so that the competition would be a little more even!

As stunned as I was, I'm glad that America is starting to see that Adam does the same basic thing week in and week out. Seems like all those people who were voting for those who've been voted out are pulling for the others.

I know Adam felt stupid. He thought he deserved to be in the top three but was escorted to the bottom three instead. I am just glad America finally realizes that Allison deserves to go all the way.

My jaw dropped to see Adam in the bottom 3 while Matt was safe!!??? I hope we don't have a Daughtry Season repeat!!! I remember voting for Daughtry and couldn't get through because "all circuits were busy" and last night, the same thing happened when I tried to vote for Adam.

America made the right decision by sending Adam to the bottom three. Now, it's a competition. Hopefully, Matt will be sent home this week and Adam the next.

If Adam goes home I'm done watching this show. He's the only reason I watch and has the MOST talent out of all five.

Before it started, I thought....wouldn't it be funny if Adam was in the bottom 3 and there he is!! I can't believe it.....well, maybe the "love fest" is over for him. I think he's too full of himself anyway....It was nice to see Simon with "egg on his face". Maybe he doesn't have the influence he thinks he has. Can't wait to see who goes home....just hope it isn't Chris!!

YES it's Matt's week.......TO GO HOME!!!! This was supposed to be his genre but he did just ok for me for him. The other AI'ers actually did better than he did. But you know dog, for me for him it was just OKAY..... so he should get the boot.

Adam is not self-centered! And the only way him going home would make the competition more even is b/c he's so ahead of everyone else on the show!

I won't watch without Adam, but really: they say "pick a group" and you go to the group you think is top?? Either don't choose, or choose the bottom – at least then things can't get any worse.

Adam is talented but as many of you have said "is full of himself." I really would like to see Matt leave..I think he is the least talented of the remaining five. I think Gokey sounds like Michael McDonald...does anyone agree?

No Angela actually it is because he is a ringer. With his background, he doesn't need or deserve to be in what is supposed to be an amateur competition, that is why it is "uneven"

No matter what happens to Adam tonight, he will have a roaring career. I for one can't wait for him to leave this circus of a show so he can finally make his album and have a real career.

Reality check... does anyone ever see the tally of votes? Do you believe that the bottom three necessarily received the least amount of votes? Do you put it above the Powers that Be to manipulate the selection of the bottom three for the sole purpose of dramatic effect and to create a buzz among the viewers about who is considered vulnerable? If the vote tallies are the criteria, why are the tallies never revealed or verified by a third party?

Wow, it is messed up Adam in the bottom 2. Adam is a cut above the rest of all of them. But the AI audience isn't know for its taste. Give them a classic novel when they are still learning coloring books. If Adam goes I'm done with this show, only started watching for him anyway.

I would not buy Gokey's CD, the only two contestants I would buy their CD is Allison and Adam.

I cannot believe Adam even chose a group. I figured he'd do what contestants have done in the past and decide not to choose. That was bad on him no matter what your view of Adam is. Way bad. If he makes it through this week, it could potentially cost him next week.

Anyway, I agree with Jay. Gokey = Taylor Hicks. While Danny can sing, he's boring. I really would rather see Danny go home. He played the wife card way too much. I cringe to think he might win and then we never hear from him again except for maybe 1-2 singles.

What about Allison then? She's been singing and preforming since she was a little girl so she's a "ringer" too then. It's not an "Amateur" Competition – This isn't "Star Search" – american idol is for people who have the TALENT and ADAM HAS TALENT – More so than anyone else!

Matt is really good, but the kids don't GET HIM....HE IS TOO GOOD FOR THEM.......BUT HE WILL SURVIVE LONGER THAN THE REST...WHY....BECAUSE HE HAS TALENT!!!!!!!

Adam chose the group he thought were the bottom three! He even said based on the previous night he was choosing them. Allyson and Danny were sure to be the bottom three as well!

my prediction was right! danny was outstanding! if he wins, the "truth will really set american idol free" this means it will truly give the true meaning of what this competiotion is all about – to put at the center stage individuals with great vocals, people who can sing and not scream. this can only be possessed by one great singer – danny gokey! danny is a singer on its own, a voice that can soar high and is the wind beneath one's wings...congratulations, danny, you have won my heart and the heart of america. your songs give me peace of heart and peace of mind.

Just wait until next week when they sing Rock and Roll....Adam will pull the house down with an Elvis song, I hope.......I think he is right for the stage, he loves to perform,and I love to watch his every move..........

At a time when a lot of people are without many of the basic necessities of life, FOX has the audacity to show these 5 talented kids waste what could have been enough to feed a few of the less fortunate ones? And then to parade to the entire world that it had cost $6000 to clean up that mess???? $6000 that could have gone to a local food bank which could have fed so many of the hungry ones? Come on, let's be more considerate of exactly where the majority of us are at in this tight economic times... seeing this portion of tonight's show made me feel sick to the very pit of my stomach.

Last year, the same controversy was talked about with DC. Full of himself, self-centered, blah, blah, blah.
And last year, I thought David Cook was the absolute best, but I did NOT think that he was full of himself.

Now this season, we have another colorful and vocally talented contestant. But for me anyway, yes I think Adam has terrific vocals, BUT this year I agree with others that he's just full of himself. Too much of an actor. It's sort of a turn-off, regardless of the pipes.

Good Grief! Adam made a choice because Adam knows who he is. He is no slouch and knows he is a STAR. Unfortunately, some people either hate him or love him. He googles himself and knows there is NO WAY he should be in the bottom. PLEEEASE!!! You can call him cocky if you want to. But, he knows from reading that he should never be in the bottom. When you watch him perform he is in a class all by himself. His records and videos are selling like hot cakes. So why should he belittle himself by eating humble pie. That is not who he is. He is not interested in playing the phony game. I appreciate his honesty and also that he know who he is. GO ADAM and vote like HELL if you want him to win. But, it is obvious by the Itunes chart this man is worth big $$$$$$$. It is sad that he in on Idol which is humiliating for someone with his type of talent. Idol should be thanking him for the privilege of having him on ther show week after week!!!

Oh, by the way. I agree that Danny Gokey is another Taylor Hicks!!! He lacks stage presence and his singing sounds the same on every song. His vocals are nothing special. And Anoop sounds better and Danny should have went home a long time ago.

No way in the world I will believe that Adam was in the bottom three! It makes the show seems hokey... all are super talented and star quality but Adam is the master entertainer. I made up my mind that if the show was going to take Adam off, I was no longer going to be an Idol fan... I look forward to Adam's performances more than anybody else's!

Adam did not get it wrong. He was asked to pick which group was the top 2. He picked the right group, he just wasn't in it. Which by the way was crazy.

I wish everyone would stop hating on Adam. What is this about being an even competition. You compete to be the best not equal. He has been the most consistant of the bunch and brings something new every week. His vocal range is amazing and he's always been very gracious and humble when he gets praised by the judges. Yes he is different, but that's what makes him unique. And that's why he will always stand out and be remembered. I for one was relieved when he wasn't sent home. The show would not have been the same without him. As far as I'm concerned, Adam and Allison are in different leagues from the rest. Go Adam!

Last nights results proved one thing and one thing only – Danny has been -and always will be – the top vote getter.

Prior to this week – both he and Adam were always safe – but of course we couldn't tell who was getting the most votes.

Now we know.

And America has it right.

Adam needed to be brought to reality.....he is full of himself. Broadway is perfect for him. He needs to go!!!

Same thing as when Reuben was there.........they "surprised" everyone by placing him in the bottom three with few contestants remaining......it's all merchandising........just to get more people tuning in......that's the name of the game. Oh, and allowing Adam to continue to compete after his 10 year professional career is sure a great reflection of just what the show's "rules" are............NOT. Watch the show everyone, but just remember ....selling ads spots is the main goal of this show, like any other show on TV. Go Allison.....!!!!!!!!
