Well whatever you do - DO NOT sign up for their Lifetime Subscription without reading their fairly well hidden (and never mentioned during the sales process) terms and agreements. This is an out and out fraud on the Sirius consumers.

It appears that Lifetime does not mean YOUR Lifetime it means the lifetime of your existing receiver. That's right - get a new car with the radio built in, upgrade to a newer device and you will quickly find out how they have resorted to misleading customers with their Lifetime promotion. So what happens if your device fails after the one year warranty is up? That's right - you have lost your lifetime subscription.

PS - the terms and agreements also go on to say "no refunds" on the hefty $500 fee.

So beware: The promise of Lifetime Service isn't Sirius!

Understand that the merger was fiscally necessary. Accept that programming changes had to be made and hope that I will eventually appreciate them.
I do believe that Sirius and XM should have given a heads-up to their customers. They could have even used it to sell more programming / special offers. They sure were secretive about it.
Scanning through the channels to see if there was something new that I'd like I ran across ones that I just couldn't understand. With a limit on the number of channels to broadcast, why would SiriusXM have all-Led Zepplin and all-AC/DC channels? These were both great bands, but no band warrants 24x7 airplay.
Also agree....Cut the DJ talk, get rid of the celeb DJ's. Shut the ____ up and play some music!

I have had XM for about five years. All my favorite channels survived the channel merger. My favorite channel is the Virus, XM 202 with Opie and Anthony. They are way better than Howard Stern. I signed up for Best Of Sirius to listen to Howard, and he is not as funny as he was on regular radio.

I just cancelled due to losing Beyond Jazz XM72.. it's not worth it anymore to spend $160 a year when they cancel your favorite station.. sure I'll miss a few options but my iPod is ready to take the place of satellite radio.. and it's free.

When the change hit, my favorite music channel has had a format change to a style I don't like, and my second favorite is gone altogether. And what's with all of the DJ chatter? I'd rather have fewer DJ's and more music channels! For every three useless DJs you lose, get a good programmer and have more variety. I understand combining channels that were the same, but why drop some altogether or lose a whole style??

for those that loved the beat (sirius 36) and would listen to the station at work online, check out boystownlive.com i found it while going through the station guide listening on winamp.

i'm finding it to be a good replacement. it is playing more songs and not mixes by dj's. even tells you the artist and song title.

as to my vex with sirius, bpm for me has its moments. i'd rather not hear dj's but just songs. it brought oldschool songs, new dance tracts, and mixed in current pop songs which have been remade into dance songs. thats what was great about the beat. i'm not hearing this from bpm.

I HATE THE CHANGES........... I have lost my XM Ol'Skool Rap channel,,,#65, I prefer the other DJ's on Channel 60, (XM's DJ's). They gave you insight on the old soul music they were playing. They would sometimes do theme years, like 1968 or something. No notice, no nothing from XM or Siruis...........I am considering dropping it.

We in XM land had the NASCAR channel before the radio gods stole it now they are wanted $4.00 more. Howard Stern sucks if I wanted that nasty fowl month on my radio I would have not gotten XM. The radio staions are not as good now with the merger. Some things are better left alone. Thank god they still more choices like cds and IPOD :) this as bad as MTV not playing vides all day!
