Kyra Sedgwick makes Brenda Leigh Johnson a believable and sympathetic character and a doggedly determined fighter for the people of the City of Angels, and the drama also has great guest stars! (For example, it was interesting to see Brian Krause, who longtime CHARMED fans may remember as healing angel Leo Wyatt, hang up his halo to play a bad guy. He did a great job as a corrupt fire marshal!) You forgot to mention another great drama, THE CLOSER, on your sister network, TNT. The second season begins Tuesday, and they're running last season's eps (there aren't that many) to help newbies catch up. It's both very intelligent and wonderfully goofy. Quite worth checking out. Also, thank God for TV Land for sitcoms of yesteryear back when us adults were kids. The only kudos is there ARE a lot of commercials and are edited. I also like the classic old movies like on TCM, mostly musicals and comedies...and I can watch The Marx Brothers 24/7/52. It is simply amazing. A great Drama. It does not matter that it is set in space. We are not SciFI folks. We discovered it by accident and my husband and I are hooked.
